Ibis Hotel Melbourne

Location is very accessible to most stuffs i need; food, transport, entertainment. Hotel staff are very friendly, they did not hesitate at all to give me a couple of hours more of complementary stay (flight was at 4pm). Though there was construction in the front but it does not affect me during day time (when i was out at work). My room are so well serviced that it feels like a brand new room everyday. Will definitely come back to this hotel when i'm back for biz trips.

Very friendly and efficient staff at the front desk, very clean room, fantastic location and good priced happy hour drinks in the i-bar all made for a very enjoyable stay at the IBIS Melbourne.

Car Park is way too expensive. Commercial car park behind hotel is half the price.

The location is good . The service is good too . There is no free internate and the rate of payment is rather expensive .

Very friendly staff, rooms are very clean and have plenty of room. Car parking available. Close to trams, train station and central Melbourne. Very reasonably priced.

Well, they are good basically except they forgot (or to show their professionalism) about cleaning up my room for my last day (bad mark here), otherwise its quite a nice stay. A good location and reasonable price if you are a open university student but u need to go to RMIT for special reason; And hate to share your privacy with others u don't know.

There's some road maintenance around the hotel. It's in CBD but... on the edge. The room is clean. Staffs are nice. The only problem is the air-condition system stopped working twice... Hope it could be completely fixed.

The hotel on therry street is quite near the melbourne central(the free City Circle bus can go around it). The receiption is quite nice,and helpful(when we claimed for not effective warm function of the air conditioner,they came to fix it,while finally they changed a better room for us when it did not work that night). While to be honest i did not feel well about the charged security box(about AUD4/day)...

Have stayed a number of times. Only critisism is poor efficiency of the reception staff/set up. Ie never enough at busy times of check out resulting in ridiculous delay

They do need a lift from the carpark

I feel that a small table and two chairs in the room would be better.

It is very close to the Queen Victoria Market. My family and I like that. It is accessible to other areas by foot too.

Good location (less than half a block from the nearest tram stop which takes you right down the centre of the CBD and about a block from Melbourne Central train station) and the staff were extremely helpful and professional. We had difficulty with the airconditioner and when they couldn't repair it they offered to move us to another room (an offer we accepted). Everything was clean and fairly modern. Beds were very comfortable. There is a construction site next door and some of the noise does bleed through - I didn't find it a problem but it was noticeable. Would stay again.

Standard hotel room, nothing special but I would definately stay here again. Location and price were great.

Very difficult to temporarily park a car outside to check-in for car users. Insufficient information on web site as to quite convenient car park used nearby by hotel at special rates - this information has to be acquired at front desk. Bathroom Toilet not flushing well - could be design. No toilet brush for use of guests No rack for bath mat.

we stayed for three nights, we arrived a little early and our room was not ready yet the receptionist said she would ring us when the room was ready however we never got that call, we had to pay to store our luggage while waiting. we stayed in a one bedroom appartment which was good and the bed was comfortable, the pillows however could have been better and the kitchen was not very well equiped, there was construction work going on next door which was loud and woke us up at 6-00am every morning, if thinking of staying I would call to see if the work has stopped yet

We thought that the hotel was rather old and in need of an update. It certainly was clean but the shower screen was cracked. Compared to hotels we have stayed at overseas it left a lot to be desired.

Room was nice and clean, pancake machine at breakfast was a big hit.

Staff were great with check in. Need to arrange parking but were able to use carpark at guest prices. Breakfast in the bistro was ok.
