The location of this hotel was great for our visit. It is close to Southern Cross Station and trams but in Little Bourke Street away from the noise. We stayed in a Superior room and had the buffet breakfast. Compared to other hotels we have stayed in the breakfast was of a high standard. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. We did ask for details from Reception about which tram to catch to get to a certain location, the staff member was very helpful with the instructions and maps etc, although did tell us the wrong tram number! We would definitely stay here again.
would definately come again.very friendly staff.lovely clean rooms.thank you
Great location - convenient for trams but also walking distance to quite a few venues-room was a little small but was ok
First time I stayed there, found it very good and the location close to all the attractions, and the price quiet good for City, Melbourne. Will stay there again
Excellent and satisfied with all
Very handy to main railway & airport shuttle station
Very Good location. Basic but clean hotel. Staff were efficient
I stay here regulalry on business as it is handy to the meeting venue. Small comfortable rooms. Shower is in the bathtub so that makes it a max 3 star for me. Good value and very quiet.
Good hotel, nice room, nice location, not too bad, could recommend it.
Good standard, clean ,reasonably priced , central to Docklands and train/ airport bus station and next to main shopping/business streets . Would use again. Quiet except for workmen noise in side lane early in the morning but this probably temporary.
Good location,courteous service,good price.Would recommend this hotel.
Small but nice rooms. Convenient locaton for me and very quiet for a Melbourne Hotel. Lots of restaurants and pubs withing walking distance. Handy to the Etihad Stadium and Southern Cross Station. At $109 it is good value for money but the Docklands Travelodge is better.
Good location for working at the Spencer St end of Melbourne, and included breakfast.
I've given an average rating for an average hotel. You'll find it in a pretty grotty part of the street. The only impressive thing about my room was that they managed to squeeze a queen bed, chair, tv & bathroom into such a tiny space! That said, decent rates for a central location. Buffet breakfast was included and was of an acceptable standard. Good choice for the budget conscious traveller.
As an older couple we travel by train to Melbourne a good deal. Because of its location we find the Ibis Hotel in Little Bourke St very convenient. Its beds are very comfortable and the facilities meet our needs. The staff are friendly and the room prices are reasonable.
Excellent Hotel, I stay here whenever I am in Melbourne on Business.
Good value easy access to public transport and airport access
Handy location and the staff were very friendly and helpful
This is my favourite place to stay in Melbourne. It's not flashy but it's clean and conveinient and cheap when big Melbourne events aren't on. It's very close to the Spencer Street train and bus terminal (including the skybus to Tullamarine and Avalon). It's also close to the Shopping Outlet DFO. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really good but it costs extra.
Only there for one night but it was enjoyable and perfect location for my needs at the time.
