Ibis Sydney Airport is a 100% Non Smoking Hotel & conveniently located just 1km from the domestic & 3km from the international airport terminals. All 200 guest rooms offer private ensuite, LCD TV with Foxtel & Digital Channels and I Pod Docking Stations. On Demand Movies & High Speed Broadband Internet access (at an additonal cost) are also available. The hotel also offers a Mini Gym complimentary Dine in iBistro our 80 seat restaurant, offering Breakfast, Lunch and an a'la carte Dinner Menu Daily. Alternative meal options are available 24 hours a day, with a late night meal menu also available. Our Cocktail Bar is open until midnight. Car Parking is available for inhouse guests for the duratiopn of their stay only at a rate of $12.00 per vehicle per night. Long Term Parking is not available, however there are numerous parking facilities located close by. Ibis is 20 minutes drive from the CBD, with the local train station, Mascot, a 5 minute walk away. There is a Shuttle Bus service to & from the airport terminals, operating between 5am & 11pm daily. This service is at an additional charge. Please note on arrival reception will require a credit card bond (pre authorisation) of $50 for all bookings. These funds will be returned to your credit card after departure but may take 5-10 working days to become available. Other than a credit card pre-authorisation we will accept a cash bond.

Getting there:Ibis is just 20 minutes drive from the Sydney CBD, with the local train station, Mascot, a 5 minute walk away. There is a Shuttle Bus service to and from the airport terminals, operating between 5am and 11pm daily. This service is at an additional charge. Drive - located on the corner of King and O'Riordan St in Mascot, 1km from the Domestic Airport and 3km from the International Airport.
Check-in Procedure:A credit card is required as security for any additional charges incurred during your stay. Alternatively a $50 per night cash deposit and photo identification can be presented.
Car parking:Car Parking is available for inhouse guests for the duratiopn of their stay only at a rate of $12.00 per vehicle per night. Long Term Parking is not available, howvever there are numerous parking facilities located close by.
Child Policy:Children 11 and under using existing bedding are free of charge.
Ok hotel on the cheaper end of the scale at Sydney airport. Very close to both terminals, can even walk to Domestic if you're keen. Rooms are quieter than Holiday Inn despite been closer to the runway and a lot cheaper. Best airport hotel is definitely the Stamford. Ibis is good value for money though
This hotel is very conveniently located, near the airport and within easy access to the Mascot train station for a quick whizz into Sydney central. The shuttle to the airport is also very convenient and having access to food 24 hours is a big plus. The rooms follow the Ibis formula and are clean and efficient. The only downside is the lack of soundproofing, otherwise this is a good choice for a short layover or break.

It was a nice hotel close to the Airport & train station to get to Downtown Sydney. I recommend using the train as much as possible, a lot cheaper than a cab and safe.
great location for short stay right by airport
If you are looking for basic go no further, rooms are adequate with tiny baathrooms. Close to the airport with a shuttle which is $6 per person each way. Very reasonble in price but you get what you pay for!
We stayed one night, was clean and great if need airport early morning, the food was fantastic and highly recommend to others

My wife and I have stayed at the Ibis Airport Hotel several times, especially when our flights for overseas were leaving early in the morning. We always found the hotel clean, efficient, reliable and helpful for travellers leaving for or arriving from overseas.
Minimal amenities / facitlies but fine for a 1 night stay. Clean and comfortable. Has a bar fridge in room. Expensive internet access! Good little restaurant on site and friendly service.
The only reason I would stay here again is because it is reasonably close to the airport. The shuttle service is Very poor. THe last time we came back into Australia the flight was late and the shuttle did not bother to wait till we even landed. We had to call the hotel to find out If they were sending another shuttle. They were reluctant to do so but did relent. By the time the shuttle picked us up we had been waiting for over an hour. The front counter service is very sub par. Not a good hotel at all.

Excellent stay ! Walking distance from the domestic airport terminal and then walking distance to the Mascot train station, saving the cost of traveling from the domestic airport train station ! A free shuttle bus from the airport would have been nice, but it only took 15 minutes to walk there ! I think the shuttle bus costs $6
Overall, the hotel is not a bad one for overnight stay although a bit expensive for the size of the bedroom and the facilities. Also, I wished they would provide a courtesy bus instead of charging $6 per person for a short trip to airport.
I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and have always found the staff to be very friendly and the service great. please keep up the good work
