OK this is an IBIS so pretty much a standard hotel, but the area where it is located makes it my favourite hotel in Seoul. the Airport bus drops and picks up just outside. the local streets are full of interesting stalls really good food, there is a cinema opposite whiohc shows English language films, and it sits between 2 main metro lines. not very expensive and always busy so book early.

Very good value. very central location, right in the heart of the shopping district. Surprised by the availability of Wifi in the rooms. modern and clean room decor

Our stay was quite impressive overall. To make it better, we feel that they should include some basic amenities in the price, e.g. we have to buy a shower for 2,000Won from the machine. The public bath on 19F is really something. Highly recommended for folks who love shopping in Myeong-Dong.

The Ibis Myeongdong is one of the best hotels I've stayed at for that price range. It was exceptionally clean and the room wasn't too small by Korean standards. Best of all was the staff and their service. They were extremely friendly and helpful, bringing out scales so we could weigh our baggage upon leaving and also gave us a small gift. The only bad points were the lights in the room could have been brighter and the rack in the shower was small, so things fell out easily. I would definitely stay here again.

Would highly recommend this hotel. Location was great, breakfast (optional) was also good and the bar located on the 19th floor was very cool. Rooms are quite and clean with all the facilities you need. Easy acces to the underground, markets, restaurants and bars. Airport bus drop off and pick up directly in front of the hotel and takes about 90minutes- BUS 6015 will cost you 10,000.

the room is small with some outdated facilities, the online booking room rate is expensive than the walk-in price, very unreasonable.

Location is a very close walking distance to station, to market and good cheap-eat places. Location is part of the Airport limo service route - which makes travelling to and from airport easy. Staff at reception was helpful too. (In rgds to Question 3, "no" don't think we did but then we didnt read things in details. Unless the card is part of the key access pass pocket)

A very centrally located 3 star hotel. Modern, Ibis standard. The reception is on the 19th floor and the rooms are between the 10th and the 18th floor. Wifi internet access is free and works very well. Breakfast is plenfitul and to international standards. Windows open, although you have to be tall to press the switch... My first room was facing the courtyard and another building was about 10 meters from my window. Upon my request, I was moved to a room overlooking the big avenues. I'd recommend the place any time and will chose a junior suite the next time, simply to have a slightly more comfortable room, with more character.

Fantastic location. Walking distance to many tourist attractions. Staff is very friendly and makes you welcomed in Seoul. Hotel rooms a bit small but still ok for Asian standard. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who looks for a mid-range hotel. I will definitely stay there again when back in Seoul.

Hotel shower area badly designed. Water easily flow out from shower tray to toilet floor.

A good hotel if you want a central location. Close to markets, shops, cafes and restaurants. Facilities are dated and the hotel is a bit run-down -- not worth the price if anywhere else, but the location made up for the faults.

Excellent location -- best in Seoul. Near everything! But ... carpet in room was very dirty, hotel is dated and room is small.

Was a great hotel in a top location. Excellent service with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast had a great selection of dishes.As an added bonus the well equipped gym complete with hot baths was free to guests. Would recommend it highly.

The location of the hotel is great. But the room is a little small with no bath tub.

A little expensive for what you get, but a good basic hotel in the heart of Seoul. Easy to get everywhere, including to and from the airport. Lots of great restaurants in vicinity ...

As advertised, this hotel is in the centre of everything in Seoul. Bus from airport drops you right at the door. It is clean, staff are courteous and the room is a good size. Still, this is a basic hotel for quite a high price when compared to other places in Asia.
