Ibis Singapore On Bencoolen Hotel

Both hotel and the room were pristine. Great location (away from road works) but close to 2 MRTs and local sites. Breakfast buffet was additional to my room rate and perhaps overpriced -so think about adding that. 24 hour Kopitam is down the road. Staff were efficient and free 15 min internet is great. Very happy and impressed.

It is just within 5-10 minutes walk distant to shopping mall and MRT. Lots of restaurant near by. Friendly staffs and clean room ~

Room well designed, but a bit compact/small. Breakfast over-priced. Go to one of many places nearby for a fraction of the price.

Highly recommended hotel, close to Orchard Rd (shopping) and transport. All the tourist attractions are withing walking distance or otherwise transport is very handy (buses, metro etc) to take you there at very reasonable costs.

I booked this hotel for visitors to Singapore, and they thought that it was extremely good value, and in a very good location. They would certainly recommend it to the people

Only there for one night (Friday Night) but excellent hotel. Location is next to the Saturday markets - enjoyed shopping there. Left our luggage there in their locked storeroom in the afternoon and picked it up just prior to our flight

It was clean, comfy and modern. Though the rooms are on the small side, it was perfect for me. If two people shared the room they might not feel the same way. Free internet in the room is great! And a good number of channels to choose from. Just bear in mind that there's no room service. But i didn't mind at all.

Very good in terms of location and convenience

i stayed 3 nights late june 2011. while the rooms are small i found it ok for one person. there is a 7/11 shop next door and a chemist with ample other restaurants and markets nearby. the hairdresser 2 doors away did a shampoo and blow-dry for me for SIN$12! there is free internet in the hotel foyer and a coin operated washing machine - SIN$4. there are 7 public, bus routes which stop outside the hotel and the fares seems to be $1 per ride! Buses are all airconditioned. i ate lunch everyday at the in-house restaurant TASTE which has "tapas" style asian food. Every night i ate at the famous Fatty's restaurant which is very close by. it was always full of locals and i see is rated 22 of 1,643 restaurants in Singapore. i paid $52 for a tour of sites relating to WW2 and Changi. A cheaper alternative is the local bus stops which stops out the front of the Changi chapel. I used the SIN$9 bus shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Two Singapore Slings at Raffles cost about SIN$62!

Value for money is great. Rooms are clean and staff friendly. This is not a 5 star hotel so don't expect it, but for what you get and how much it costs. I will definately return.

The front desk staff is very professional, greeted with smile, checkin process was so fast, i give this staff a 5 star for customer handling. Hotel is clean, room a bit small, wireless internet come as a complimentary (another plus point). Location is good (bugis junction in walking distance). Checkout process is also very fast. Very very recommended hotel for single traveller (or couple).

This hotel is priced at 70% of the price of the better hotels, and you get 70% of the value. Rooms are small without being tight, bathrooms have tile instead of marble, lobby is functional, not ornate. Outside the hotel are taxis, of course, but the next option are two bus stops immediately in front of the hotel: the metro is about an 9-minute walk. Location is Bencoolen, which is in-between the more desirable Orchard and Marina Bay areas. The Ibis is new, well-maintained and has all the essentials of a top hotel, just a notch or so lower in all areas.

Good Location near shops including 7/11 next door Hotel Restaurant very good Helpful staff and sevice. Beds 11 out of 10 for comfort and with 2 pillows per person. Only problem was size of fridge, too small and could not take a 700ml bottle. After returning from Europe a great joy to have tea and coffee facilities in room and drink machine on the floor as well as excellant coin laundry on 3 floor. Would recommend and Stay again

the bus stop is just right infront of the hotel. mrt is also accessible. good service and clean rooms. not for family though as the rooms are quite small.
