"This hotel is great-i stayed their twice on my travels! It's comfortable and clean and the bathroom has a hot, powerful shower with a huge mirror.
It has a pool, a bar - the drinks are pricey though! - a restaurant, a little convenience store and a gym.
It's full of business people, but Jakarta is so you can't really avoid that! The staff are really helpful too and there are always taxis waiting right at the front.
The only criticism is that both times I stayed there checking in was a pain. They didn't seem to understand the fact that I had paid a deposit via the website and only had to pay the remainder to them. They tried to tell me to claim my deposit back from this website!! They also charge $100 deposit for each room upfront which is annoying if you're running low on cash.

"I was happy that I had a good experience with the hotel service of Ibis Slipi Hotel, considering that it was my first visit to Jakarta, Indonesia. Though there was a bit of difficulty with communication,
English not widely spoken, the staff was able to provide for my
needs. I am most happy that complimentary coffee and tea was available in my room. And cleanliness was extensively observed. The color and interior of the rooms were very warm and conducive to rest and made me feel like home. Thanks for the experience." - APRILLE TIJAM
