Ibis Slipi Hotel Jakarta

We were immediately disappointed when we saw the room. Room's small, bed's small.. I didn't like the lobby and the feel of the room. The whole thing felt old to me. The check-in process was a bit slow but the staffs were courteous. Location's not near to anywhere and the jam-packed streets doesn't help. I don't think I'll stay here again. It's a huge disappointment personally.

Centrally location to almost all the shopping malls. The room is a bit small but comfortable.

Amazing! Truly Amazing. Been staying in the Twin Plaza rated at 4 stars before, which is pretty much next door. Despite this being only 3 stars I couldn't praise it high enough. Rooms good, Food nice, price good, Service good. What else could you ask for. The location is also very good if you don't need to be in the absolute prime CBD as us. All in all fantastic... Definitely going there again...

Need more staff at check in and check out. Apart from that, I had a really pleasant stay.

This hotel is great-i stayed their twice on my travels! It's comfortable and clean and the bathroom has a hot, powerful shower with a huge mirror. It has a pool, a bar - the drinks are pricey though! - a restaurant, a little convenience store and a gym. It's full of business people, but Jakarta is so you can't really avoid that! The staff are really helpful too and there are always taxis waiting right at the front. The only criticism is that both times I stayed there checking in was a pain. They didn't seem to understand the fact that I had paid a deposit via the website and only had to pay the remainder to them. They tried to tell me to claim my deposit back from this website!! They also charge $100 deposit for each room upfront which is annoying if you're running low on cash. Otherwise it's a really nice hotel and I would definitely recommend!

I was happy that I had a good experience with the hotel service of Ibis Slipi Hotel, considering that it was my first visit to Jakarta, Indonesia. Though there was a bit of difficulty with communication, English not widely spoken, the staff was able to provide for my needs. I am most happy that complimentary coffee and tea was available in my room. And cleanliness was extensively observed. The color and interior of the rooms were very warm and conducive to rest and made me feel like home. Thanks for the experience.

It was value for money, very near malls and nightlife, service was prompt, and the staff converse well in English. I'll definitely stay there again!

Slipi area is very well located, close to Tamman Angre mall, close to the way to the airport (avoid traffic) and also close to Sudirman. It is very convenience and the premises have everything, swimingpool, restaurant, cake shop. the size of the room is fine and even has room service. I've been there a few times and will go there again
