Ibis Wellington Hotel

This was a typical hotel room you would encounter in Europe, compact and efficient. Good location in the CBD to walk .

Good room. Comfortable and quiet. Good to have a desk with power and internet (which i didn't use) for the time i spent working on my lap top. OK breakfast. Quick checkout. Good for a business trip., Right price

The room adequate and very clean.The exceptional aspect of the Ibis was the staff.They could not have been more efficient and helpful.Many higher grade hotels could learn from them. The central location was perfect for the Rugby as well as being able to access the wharf and restaurant district. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in Central Wellington - quite modern. Friendly and obliging staff. Good restaurant and good prices. Clean and hygenic. Highly recommended.

First time I've stayed here - great convenient location and room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

We unexpectadly stayed a second night (due to ash cloud keeping our plane on the ground). On the second day the staff were extremely helpful, and very cheerful. The first room was very good and clean with a comfortable bed, but the second room needed some minor repairs done - such as door hinge needed re-screwing some lights not working and the bed was not as comfortable as the first night. Maybe if I had mentioned this to the staff they would have had it seen to.

This hotel is Budget priced and has small rooms but it was clean and comfortable. External noise wasn't a problem so it was ideal for a short stay in the centre of the city and easy to walk everywhere. We would use it again.

We really enjoyed our stay. All the staff were really helpful. The breakfast was a good deal. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location for events as close to Telstra Stadium, & waterfront. Would stay again

The first room we were allocated was slightly on the small side and we had a problem with a broken bed. This was immediately fixed by moving us to another room which was bigger. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. We would definitely stay here again.

Good stay, in the middle of the CBD, great facilities

The central location of the hotel makes it easily accessible by public transport from Wellington airport; and many of the features of the city of interest to visitors are within walking distance. The rooms are comfortable and have an adequate range of services for visits of one or two nights' duration. The staff at the reception area are cheerfully efficient, and the small 'in house' cafe/restaurant provides a very convenient service.

Enjoyed the stay. Nice and central. I'd like to see hotels like yours giving free or more generous internet service. It's grossly over-priced and limited. Three hundred yards away you can get an hour's free wi-fi with your burger and chips.

It took nearly 45 minutes for them to "find" the booking from their computer. Then I left them with a copy of the paperwork. Then when I went to check out, they tried to charge me a second time saying that I had not paid earlier. I used their free wireless to log into my bank account to show them the money had come out of my credit card and then they beleived me. I am not sure whose 'fault' it is, but if between the hotel and the booking company, there needs to be a better system. Apart from that, they stay was really good. It was a great location, good value for money etc.

For the price this hotel is excellent. Great location, clean and has everything you need for a short stay coping with early morning check outs and late arrival with ease.
