Idea Hotel Rome San Pietro

Actually a little too far from the centre of Rome, but there's a bus stop in front of the hotel with a bus leaving for the city every 10-15 minutes. Ride takes about 20 min and ends at a bus station close to the Vatican (Via Acciaioli). Hotels in the city are much more expensive, therefor this is a good alternative. Breakfast is very good with lots of choices of bread, fruit, cake, etc. All with all, if you don't mind staying outside the city, a good hotel!

Will stay here again, bit out of the way, but easily reached by bus.

Overall are we very happy with our stay at Pisana. Very nice hotel, good rooms and good breakfast. The only issue is that the hotel is located a little far from the city center. But when just planning bus-schedules, it was no problem at all.

I found the hotel sufficient for my needs and budget. It is a little far from the city centre, but there is a bus that stops directly in front of the hotel. The staff are friendly and accessible. Remember to ask for things politely and say please and thank you.

The hotel was far from the metro station, but it was not commented in the description of the hotel location.

Old hotel. It is deffinitely not a 4 stars Palace! it is more a 3 starts standards. However, the rooms are OK. Very good buffet breakfast. Outside the city. Not far from the city on a map but very difficult to find our way to the city center.

Easy to reach with bus line 881. Quiet. Very good breakfast buffet. The only weak point, rooms badly sound-proof...

Our staying in the pisina was perfect. For this price its a very good hotel. The service was very friendly.....lovely ladies like Valitina are helping you with a Italian smile... The breakfast was very rich and the free bus to the airport brought us there within 15 minutes!

Within Romes Ring Road, only 20mins by bus to city centre. Not a bad place to stay.

Great rates that included breakfast which was far more diverse and tasty than most hotels back home.. Located only 15 min by bus #881 from Vatican and all the rest of Rome you came for. Hotel staff was very friendly. And shuttle provided to and from the airport saves a lot. Typical taxi ride 55 euro one way.. Just make sure you arrive at Fiumicino before 11am - that's the last free ride till 5pm..I will not be back to Rome any time soon but if i will Pisana Hotel will be it.

It is a good hotel, friendly staff. Contra's are the location and it is quite business for tourists.

nice hotel with friendly staff, it is a bit far out of town, but the 881 bus goes straight to St Peter's from opposite the hotel. much better than staying in termini in a tiny unfriendly hotel

This is one of the best hotels I put up with in Europe in terms of customer service and value for money. All the staffs are well trained and friendly. Although the location is slightly off the city centre, it is easily accessible by bus. In addition, you can save quite a bit with their free transfer to and for the airport.

Travellers need to know that public transport to the hotel stops running at 10.30 so they dont get stuck in the middle of the burbs alone at night like I did. Scary! Dangerous! Three forms of transport to get there is too manyand they don't all link up .
