close to main attraction but very very small room
The rooms were extremely small and we had a problem with the door on one of the rooms. (Special trick to open a door) walls were very thin, we were able to hear the couple next door talking on their cell phone The price, Location (10 min walk from the tower) and the Breakfast Buffet were great. The morning staff was very helpful and friendly.

Good place to stay, the rooms are confortable, the showers are great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. About the location it is good near 3 main Metro Stops and 10/15 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower.
The hotel is small but functional, at exceptionaly low rates in this area of Paris. Free wireless Internet (for the moment only accessible in the hotel lobby and lower floors), great breakfast buffet and very nice location in Paris (XV arrondissement, with Metro and RER nearby).
other than a tiny mouse issue (that was quickly resolved), we loved this hotel. close to the metro, quiet streets, walking distance to the eiffel tower, close to the seine, breakfast included...highly recommended...
Quite noisy rooms (thin walls), but price and location is great.
A reasonable sized room for Paris and at a very good price. The bed was comfortable and facilities in the room quite nice. It was close to a metro, but wherever you wanted to get to was always two tube trips away. You did hear the traffic noise even with the windows closed.
Basic hotel. Good location (e.g. for tennis at Roland Garros and Eiffel tower, Odeon areas etc.) Small room, no a/c and noisy with windows open. Small shower (no bath). Staff helpful. Unlimited internet for 6 euros, only one p/c though. Simple breakfast. Local tv channels only.
This is a good little hotel at a reasonable price. The rooms are small (alhtough I believe this is normal for Paris). The shower was a bit small and my husband couldn't reach the soap after he dropped it. The lift was only slightly larger, but the staff were helpful, breakfast filling and it was only 10 minutes walk to the Eiffle Tower. Our 3 year old son was free (we bought a sleeping bag and sleeping mat with us). I recommend the place for the price.
Small rooms but very clean and functional; stairs and elevator are not in the bets condition but there is a friendly and helpful staff, free wirelss network (hotel lobby and a couple of floors up only) or Internet work station in the hotel lobby. Very, very nice location between the Seine and the "Champ de Mars" (Eiffel Tower, Ecole Militaire, etc.)
Great friendly service but a very small room and noisy as underground is very close.
Its a small hotel but with very friendly and helpful Staff. Its clean and tidy in a good location. There are some typical good french restuarants close by. The Linos Bistro is quite superb! Breakfast is simple but ok. It was our first time to Paris and definately not the last! We would have no hesitation to stay at the Ideal hotel again!

Excellent value for money. Room small but comfortable (had been completely refurbished recently). Residential, non-touristy neighborhood close to Metro. Multi-lingual staff very friendly and helpful.
Parking is very expensive! 32 Euros per 24 hours!

The location of this hotel is very ideal. It was only a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. The rooms were not that bad and were clean. I loved the green tea soap and shampoo. The shower is very small, not much room to move around at all. The breakfast was very simple; croissants, jam, butter, nutella, coffee, tea, juice. Overall, this hotel is basic but considering you're not in your room very much I would stay in this hotel again. The location is what really makes this place ideal. It was really close to the metro station and the Eiffel Tower.
Nice place. The staff is very kind and helpful, and speaks English. The place is a bit small, but enough. The bathroom and everything is clean. The elevator is terrible though. But it's worth it's prize. A five minute walk to the metrostation and located in the center of Paris. Would i stay here again? - Definetly.
The staff at the Ideal Hotel Paris is wonderful! Friendly, helpful, sincere, knowledgeable. The location suited us well. Though not in a touristy spot, it is close to the Metro, the Eiffel Tower, some nice places to eat, and a little grocery store. We were happy to have a refrigerator in the room and easy internet access. Next time we are in Paris we will stay there again.
