Getting there:Arriving by Airplane Using a Taxi: The cost should be around 25 - 30 Euros. Using a Bus: The bus station in Piraeus port where you should stop is “Karaiskaki” square. From there follow the street of the port having the sea on your right side until you get to St. Nicolas church. At that point, on the traffic lights, make a left turn and you will find after 2 blocks Notara Str and 30 m further you will see Ideal Hotel in front of you. Arriving by Ship Using a Taxi: The cost should be around 2,5 Euro. On Foot: Coming out of the port go to your right and walk until you meet St. Nicolas churh. At that point, on the traffic lights, make a left turn and you will find after 2 blocks Notara Str and 30 m further you will see Ideal Hotel in front of you.

Car parking:There are private parking places 50m away from the hotel for 8-10 euros/day.
Child Policy:- CHILDREN: Up to age 4, stay free in the room. From 4 to 11 years old receive a 50% reduction when sharing parents' room and from 11+ until 12 pay the extra child fee. Children over this age, will be considered as adults.
Apart from shower fitting being broken (for some time), a pleasent place and very clean
Very close to the port so great for early boats. In a bit of a dirty back street and it was tricky to find but it was clean and reasonably priced.

Nice, clean hotel. Location is good if you are catching a ferry to the greek islands. Very dark around the hotel at night.
The location of the hotel was close to the port where our cruise left from. However, the street it was located on was very dark at night. The price was reasonable, the rooms were very plain and beds were not comfortable. The service was fine, however, the front desk clerk seemed to get frusterated with our questions when we needed assistance.
A good hotel for overnight stay prior to catching ferry to the islands.
We would recommend this hotel to any one Room was quite large, bathroom roomy for Greece standards TV was still far to high Breakfast not to bad either
The hotel was as I expected....generally, good value for the money. The staff was typically very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good. My only concern was one of our two rooms that had a restricted bathroom ceiling requiring sit-down showers only. Our two rooms were on the top floor (5) of the hotel.

We had excellent service from the staff here, very friendly and very helpful. The hotel looks to have been refurbished recently and everything appears pretty much brand new. Easy to get into athens city centre by train and perfect for catching ferries to visit islands. We wished we stayed here longer instead of coming to stay in athens city centre, this hotel is alot better value than anything you can find in athens centre. Will recommend to anyone travelling to athens/ greece.
We found the people working in the hotel very helpful and the service was good, as it is a low price hotel.
Very friendly staff. Location has nothing immediately nearby visitors who are spending a length of time in Piraeus. However for a short stay or connecting with ferries or bus to the airport the location is OK and there are reasonable places to eat in Piraeus, just not very close to this hotel.
The best choice to stay in the Piraeus. Very nice staff the rooms are really clean and there is free wireless connection available even if sometimes it does not work.
