"Located in the older part of Playa del Ingles, close to the beginning of the boulevard, this is a pleasant hotel for a short stay. Swimming pool and gardens are wonderful.
The restaurant is acceptable especially since it's included for a minimal price. The 'all inclusive upgrade' is fine if you plan to spend a lot of time in and around the hotel, otherwise you'd better avoid it since prices are low everywhere in the Canarias.
Currently not offered on this site, but if they should be: beware of the 'single rooms', you really want to avoid those." - Sebastiaan Kamp

Guests can get an early start with a wake-up call and enjoy the buffet breakfast service, before exchanging currency at the 24-hour front desk and heading out for a day's sightseeing.
Families will appreciate the children's miniclub, children's pool and onsite playground. The hotel offers animation shows in the evenings, such as live orchestral music, folklore shows and flamenco dances. The hotel also caters for business guests, with its conference rooms, audio-visual equipment and Internet access. |

Las Palmas Airport (LPA): Approximate driving time is 20 minutes and distance is 25 kilometers (16 miles).
If you decide to rent a car, follow the fast road GC 1 direction to the South (Playa del Inglés – Maspalomas).
Drive along this road for about 30 kilometers to the exit “El Veril”, which leads you to the main road C-812.
Drive to the first junction, which leads to the “Escorial” road.
You will find the IFA Hotel Continental on the left – Avda. De Italia 1
A rank of licensed taxi cabs waits outside the main arrivals hall of Las Palmas airport. A taxi to the hotel costs approximately €25. Alternatively, guests can take the number 66 bus to the hotel which runs every hour, and costs around €4 for a single trip. |
