Getting there:
Las Palmas Airport (LPA): Approximate driving time is 20 minutes and distance is 29 kilometers (18 miles).
If you decide to hire a car follow the fast road GC 1 direction to the South (Playa del Inglés – Maspalomas).
Drive along this road for about 30 kilometres to the exit “El Veril”.
Drive to the first junction, which leads to the “Escorial” road.
Drive to the right on the Avda. de Italia until you reach Maspalomas and the crossroads after about 600 metres at the junction with “Sargentos Provisionales”.
Turn left in the direction of “Plaza Miramar” (a small square with a large public car park).
On the right you will find the cul de sac “Helsinky”, where the IFA Hotel Dunamar is Number 8.
There is also a rank of licensed taxi cabs just outside the main arrivals hall of Las Palmas airport, to the right as you leave the building.
