"Great location. Linen was tatty and frayed, shampoo etc was not replenished daily. Internet was 'broken'. There was a very noisy teenage girl school party which made it very unpleasant and difficult to sleep. The guy on the desk was most helpful though." - Anonymous
"We stayed 2 nights in Il Faro Hotel. The location is ideal for the ferries to/from Naples and Capri. There is however a series of very steep steps up into Tasso Square (Sorrento Centre). The ascent by steps to the square takes no more than 10 minutes, but is very steep.
The hotel was fine. The room was extremely spacious. It is an older hotel, so some of the facilities need updating. The bathroom facilities were not great (problem with the cistern), but for 2 nights, this hotel is adequate, and reasonably priced." - noreen carney

the Sorrento Peninsula take then the A3 Salerno-ReggioCalabria.
Exit to Castellammare di Stabia and continue for Sorrento. once
arrived in "Tasso square" follow direction "Port of Sorrento"
By Train:Once arrived to the railway station of Naples "Garibaldi
square" you will find local line "CIRCUMVESUVIANA" which will
allow you to catch up Sorrento in 1 hour approximately arrived in
Sorrento use the taxi services or the publics services, destination
port of Sorrento
By Plane: arrived to the areoport of Naples Capodichino, you can
use the Curreri bus destination Sorrento. Once arrived in "Tasso
square" take the Buses line, destination Port of Sorrento |
