Small, but nice hotel 10 min walk from centrum of Florence. The elevator is a bit to small, can't fit more than 2 persons without luggage.
Well located within easy walk of everything but in a relatively quiet area. Helpful staff.
Enjoyed our stay at Il Granduca. Nice room in the annex. Breakfast was good. A little far from the centre to walk but bus route closeby.
The staff was amazing!
This hotel is run by a very service-minded older couple, and that service offset some things we didn not like, such as dingy wallpaper and old furntiture in the room. The garden is lovely, and the Internet usage cheap and convenient. They held our luggage for the day when we checked out so we could tour more of Florence. Breakfast was included; it was simple but nourishing. It is in a great location, near the historic center. The location for the price is a great value.
