The suite was wondrous; the staff were courteous and always available to assist in rapid friendly manner.The room was clean and immaculate, when we travel again to Taipei; we definitely stay at the Imperial Hotel; Thanks for a great stay.

very nice classic hotel-not boutique hotel style- but very clean and tidy (many japanese tourists which is a good sign). rooms are big, quiet and confortable....very good internet through cable, good satellite tv as well...there are 2 retaurants, a bar....the staff is very friendly and helpful, they provide tours, shuttle service..it's 5mns walk to the metro...many shops and retaurants around, a small night market at 5 mns, and for the price i have paid it's an absolute bargain around 80-85 usd/night (probably promotion rate)....i think you will have a hard time finding anything better than that. yes i would recommend this hotel without a doubt.

hotel staff friendly and approachable. public airport coach to Airport just outside the hotel, very convenient.

The hotel is well located in the Taipei city, good and newly decorated. Breakfast variety with local recipe. taste good.

Very clean room

Very good hotel in this price segment. Great restaurant and lobby bar. Excellent breakfast buffet. The staff is very friendly and speaks English. You get even many tips for shopping and sightseeing. All in all I enjoyed my stay and will for sure return to this hotel at my next stay in town.

Excellent in the following areas: 1. Location: 5-min walk from Chungshan Elementary School MRT station and minutes away from the bustling areas of Hsimenting, Taipei Main Station and Taipei City Hall area where Taipei 101 lies. 2. Service: From the conceirge to the front desk to the Club Floor personnel, everyone is warm and helpful. Most of them also speak very good English and Japanese to cater to the international travellers. 3. Hotel & Room amenities/facilities: Spacious and cozy rooms with full amenities. Whether you need an iron or a spare paper bag to contain your shopping buys, they are all well-prepared for you in the room. If you need to work out after a feast of Taiwanese delicacies, you can use the well-equipped gym on the top level of the hotel. A business centre is also available for business travellers and the many restaurants serve delicious international and local cuisine. Every evening, a residential musician will also soothe your ears @ the lobby area.

Hotel looks quite 'old' from outside. The room I had is a corner room and is quite spacious. Bed is comfortable and big enough for two persons. Quite a distance away from the nearest MRT. Need to take bus or taxi whenever you want to go somewhere. Using of internet in the room is chargeable. To enjoy free wireless internet service, you have to go down to the business office at the ground floor, which is rather inconvenient. Within walking distance, there is a nice and economical breakfast place, which opens 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is clean although a bit small. The locatin is very good. 10 minutes from the subway.

Arrived at 07.00 AM for for half the room rate I paid could check in then, also convenient for airport with airport bus stop at front door.

unfortunately its location is not central within walking distance to shopping complex like Sogo.

The hotel staff were very courteous and professional. There is a airport bus stop across from the hotel which makes travel to the airport convenient. The room amenities were comparable, if not better than hotels of the same price range. Having lived in Taiwan many years ago, I liked the fact that there is a nice and relatively inexpensive Chinese breakfast place nearby.

Quality hotel with excellent services however not a great area in Taiwan these days but an interesting area and safe. A pleasant walk to the subway, but some distance - 20 minutes

Lovely hotel...clean, extremely comfortable and a little bar with a wonderful atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff...the perfect place for a quiet drink after a long day of site seeing. The gym was well set up and the staff once again helpful and genuinely pleased to see you each day. The reception staff and concierge were more than obliging...oh did I mention the beds- just so very soft and comfortable! It is a 10 minute walk to the closest mrt station but it didn't worry us at all!
