Impiana Hotel Ipoh

Without high expectations, Impiana meet an average hotel needs. Their house keeping staff are pretty efficient just that some room facilities needs maintenance. Comfortable stay overall.

Overall it is ok but the hotel is old , I think it is priced slightly high. The bathroom shower needs to be replaced . Room 808 .

Stayed in this hotel for one night in our recent family trip to Lost World of Tambun. Overall, we are satisfied about this hotel, big room, breakfast not bad, friendly staffs and value for price that we paid. No problem about the location if you travel by own car as it is not located in city centre.

Hotel staff are generally friendly and helpful. It would be nice if an escalator or lift is provided in the underground carpark to the hotel lobby. This is especially useful as guest will be carrying heavy lugages. As the air-con in the room is centrally controlled, guests are not able to adjust the room temperature based on their preference. We find it rather cold in the evening. It would be nice if hair dryer is provided in the room. The buffet spread for the breakfast & dinner is rather limited (mainly spicy food) and there are flies on some of the food.

I managed to get a newly refurbished room. The room was nice and clean. Really liked the new deco. My only problem was the walls were too thin, we could hear the nextdoor's baby crying through out the nite..

Generally, an impressive hotel with "grandiose" external looks. Pity standard of room cleanliness is below par. Bathroom fittings (bath, toilet etc) are chipped, cracked and not properly cleaned. Carpets appear thread-bare and in dire need of a shampoo. Porters and bell boys maybe applauded for their courtesy and willingness to help. Reception on whole, is acceptable. A few naive receptionists should be told, it does not pay to fob off customers with childish excuses. I will continue to use it until another competitive or new 4 or 5 star hotel emerges.

The staff at the reception was very helpful. The room was very clean. The location is not too far from the city centre. We will definitely stay there next time if we go to Ipoh again.
