This is a decent option as a mid range hotel in South Beach: close to the action but just out of the centre of town, not high end but clean with friendly staff and value for money. Nice little outdoor pool which is clean and a real bonus. Recommended for those looking for a decent option priced slightly above the cheapest in town, which usually have fairly dodgy reviews!
Good value for money in an area which has a lot of crap and overpriced hotels

Standard King comes equipped with air conditioner, cable T.V, hair dryer, iron w/ iron board, clock radio and writing desks and private bathroom
We spent 3 nights in the hotel. Very nice hotel, specially the beauty of the deco lobby and the terraze in the swiminpool area. Complementary breakfast was nice with some pastries and juices. Our children missed toast, they said how is possible the hotel do not offer bread for breakfast? It was very nice to have breakfast in the swimminpool and take a bath after it. The rooms were a little small for 2 adults and 2 children but still nice. The most inconvinience was the parking. In the street of the hotel there is parking spot free from 6 pm until 8 am. This was forcing us to wake up early as per to pay a couple of hours that we needed before leaving. Thanks god we were to visit the Miami area and not to stay in Miami Beach. Parking in Miami is a big headache.
quiet hotel on a quiet street - wouldn't choose it again - I would rather spend a few dollars more for the hotel with the ocean view. though the beach is only two blocks away. but the reception staff is friendly. though miami downtown is a good 10-15 blocks away, so you either have to to take a long walk along the beach, or take a bus, or take a cab.
Quaint, European style hotel, lovely garden/pool/restaurant area. Not a glitzy modern place. More like Nice than Miami. I'll stay there again.
Easy to get to either miami beach or south beach. Air con was noisy...but I switched it off by night. Very comfortable hotel, very relaxed and I can thoroughly recommend it as a very good hotel for the money.
