The Hotel Infante de Sagres, the only 5 star Hotel in the city centre is 500 meters far from the Unesco’s World Heritage site. The Hotel is located in the heart of the most traditional commercial area of Porto, near the Main Hall and Aliados Avenue. Our guests have a quick, comfortable and easy access to the main interesting points offered from our town to its visitors. The Hotel Infante de Sagres is one of the most charismatic and emblematic Hotels of Portugal, having a charm and sophistication that makes of it a real monument. All the details of their 70 rooms and suites are duly equipped with bathroom, hair dryer, air conditioned, mini-bar, radio, satellite TV, direct dial phone with internet connection to modem and double glazed windows. The rooms and public areas have a very important collection of genuine pieces of art, including furniture, paintings from the Italian, Flemish and French schools, contemporaneous Portuguese paintings, ceramics and sculptures. The Hotel has a Restaurant that offers traditional gastronomy, a cosy bar and a pleasant outdoor relaxing Patio, were breakfast and meals can be served - weather permitting – one lobby lounge (the emblematic Lions Room), conference rooms (the Infante and the Mirrors rooms), computers with free internet access, solarium, air conditioned, laundry and dry-cleaning service and 24 Hour Front Desk. There is also a public garage and a car parking near the Hotel (service not included).

Getting there:* Coming from the Airport Francisco Sá Carneiro: Look for SUL – FREIXO and leave at the exit named FREIXO. Follow that road until the second rotunda, where you must turn on your right side to Marginal Avenue (MARGINAL DO PORTO). In the end of that street cross the small tunnel and turn right on the first crossway. Go up the street and once again, turn right on RUA MOUZINHO DA SILVEIRA. Follow that street until the traffic lights and turn on the left, to the centre (CENTRO), reaching the main avenue AVENIDA DOS ALIADOS. On this avenue there are some indications that helps you to reach the hotel. The Hotel is located in a small square PRAÇA D. FILIPA DE LENCASTRE, near that avenue.

Located in the old part of Porto, which is not so very clean. Nice hotel with inner yard where you can have a drink.
A very good hotel in a good central location. The rooms are a good size and well appointed with little extras in the bathroom. The staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was good, although the tea and coffee tend to be luke warm. The restaurant was ok, but with a limited menu, and again a tendency for the food to be lukewarm, not in keeping with the 5 star rating. The Hotel has been decorated since my last visit, and although it had some amazing furniture and was very well done, some of the modern stuff looked a bit out of place. I would definitely stay again, and recommend the hotel to others
Good location. If hot meals is added to breakfast, it is much better.
Front of house was fantastic; your female staff member went out of her way to assist us; your restaurant was also great - we had two of the best meals there over the course of our 1 month hilday throughout Portugal, Spain and Greece. The new renovations -mix of the old and the new also work well.
The hotel is elegant and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only problem is actually Porto's problem: difficult access by car. Anyway there is a parking building in proximity, with very acceptable cost (10 euro per day) and the hotel took care of the car parking.
Wonderful hotel with great location
Charming hotel, good size rooms, excellent breakfast, hotel situated in the city centre, 5 min stroll to main shopping street, approx 15 min walk to river.
Beautiful, charming hotel with excellent service and location. But no 5 star hotel, 4 would be more descriptive. Standard rooms do need an up-date.
Parking was a problem. The service was amongst the best ever.
