Basic rooms really are basic and the decor is quite dated, also the shower did not work properly either! but overall we had a pleasant stay and the bed was comfy and the room very clean.
Water pressure was low which stopped us having a shower during our two day stay. the restaurant and bar closes on a FRIDAY night. Quite incredible during teh high season of July.
Very nice hotel. Close to the beach and very comfortable. I had a lovely balcony. Skip the breakfast and use the boulangrie down the block. Easy to take the city bus to La Rochelle.
