(follow the yellow signs) (traveltime approx. 25 min) from Tempelhof (THF): take subway line 6 to Friedrichstrasse, Change here to any S-Bahn train going east. Good hotel, with very nice receptionists. Excellent location to commute with public transportation. Easy and cheap parking next to the hotel.
Great hotel - right next to the train station, close to the centre and right next to a food hall.

InterCityHotel Berlin is the perfect hotel if you are travelling by train as this hotel is located inside of the main train station complex. The main train station complex has a lot of shops and markets so it was really handy. The hotel issues their guests with a free transportation pass so we could just jump on a train to go to the main area of Berlin city. Room was bit small but very clean. Also, our room was by the street so it was a bit noisy but over all, it was very good value for money.
A very good hotel in all aspects. It is conveniently located inside the Berlin Ostbanhof train station complex so there is a wide range of services and facilities available if they are not available in the hotel itself. Well recommended.
