InterContinental Hotel Perth Burswood

Room rates are quite high but this property is pretty special. Very large and comfortable rooms with excellent facilities. The hotel is a little isolated (15 - 20 min. taxi ride to the city centre) but there is a good variety of restaurant and bar options in the adjacent casino precint.

Newly renovated so actually very nice

have stayed here 3 times now, with all teh work thats been going on last 2 times the only thing that seems to be any better is the foyer, i was on 3rd floor, had to put up with hamering from about 8.30 am, ice machine on 3rd floor didnt work, went to 4th floor, ice machine didnt work had to go to 5th floor for 1 glass of ice. thats really below standard. heated indoor Pool was unavailable again, & it was the only reason i payed the $360. for their over priced room. i could have stayed anywhere else without a pool for so much cheaper. Their staff are fantastic & treat u like your somebody special. got complimentary breakfast because of pool incident but had to complain as far up as the manager to get that . great atmosphere, great atrium breakfast, just the pool was a huge let down.

Rooms are very dated and drab. Staff were very friendly but the service in the Atrium was average. Price is exteme for what is a 4 star hotel at best.

We stayed in a refurbished room on the 1st floor which was very conveniently located close to the lift. The room was very spacious and luxuriously appointed and seemed to be sound-proofed. We adored the ultra modern bathroom and deep bath tub. Reception service was excellent and we were made very welcome. We would definitely stay here again and hopefully spend more time exploring the beautiful gardens

The hotel and other parts of the casino complex were under renovation but being that it was Saturday, we did not experience any disturbance. The Classic King View Room was everything we had expected - clean, spacious, comfortable and with a nice view. The breakfast which was included was lovely and the wait staff were excellent. Shame we did not have enough time to make use of the spa bath in our room, the gym, sauna and swimming pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, even if it was only for 1 night.

Totally impressed with the whole hotel/casino. Perfectly clean, great views, wonderfull food, both room service and restaurants. Will be back!

We have stayed at the hotel before and loved it but this time the pool and facilities that make it a great resort stay were shut for renovations and the building noise was pretty significant - so fairly disappointed

great location overlooking river surrounded by beautiful parklands and only a small taxi fare to the CBD

Best hotel in Perth.

Check in was at 3pm didn't get room until 6pm not impressed.

Very enjoyable and as you would expect from a 5 star hotel the facilities were perfect.

we love staying at Burswood because there is much to do and you basically don't have to leave the hotel complex. We feel it is the best hotel in Perth especially if you like Casinos.

Excellent facilities with something for everyone in the one spot. Pool is fantastic! The Restaurants and "Icon" Coffee outlet were so handy. View of city with the large corner windows made the room feel huge. Will return there whenever we can.

The service in all areas was absolutley excellent. The best service I have had at any hotel in the world.

There are renovations there at the moment so we were woken at 7.30am in the morning

We have not been to this Hotel in along time and it still has the same excellent service and facilities.

For a five star property the service at this hotel was a distinct disappointment. Being attached to a casino it has several restaurant choices but our experience with them over several days was not particularly good. There seems to be a lack of pride in this hotel with staff frequently talking about "them" suggesting that any problems belonged to someone else in "management". Even when I was checking out a negative comment about our experience was met with a response that suggested a lack of interest by the staff member. Go for the facilities not the food or service.
