best experience: the hotel staff find ways to get us 2 english speaking motorbike drivers we requested, to take us to the streets of Hanoi.... and got us everything that we need and more in less than 5 hours.
A well located and excellent Hotel - on Lake. Very impressed with views and night lightings. Is recommended. Will definitely return to this Hotel again.
had difficulty trying to find the hotel, taxi driver didnt know the hotel and send us to a old closed shop, which have the same address as the hotel, so i guess was not the taxi's fault, then i tried to call the hotel but couldnt get through the number provided on hotelclub.com, had to use my roaming no.'s gps to find the hotel! upon arriving the hotel, finally, with my question, receptionist totally ignore my question and without even bother to greet they just proceed with check in, I was not really happy with the way they treated this matter, they should have update hotelclub for the additional add-on number for foreigner have no clue that vietnam add a "6" in all land-line. Other that this, all was satisfying, it was a good resort.
One of the best business hotels I have stayed in so far. The views of the west lake is very scenic and security is pretty tight too.
Beautiful hotel, especially the Pavilion rooms.
Hotel was very nice and modern. Rooms were a great size, lovely and clean, all the modern items you need. Pool area was nice too although you need to be quick to get the good lounges on a nice day. The location is a little bit out of Hanoi main city but well worth it. Only a few dollars in a taxi and the hotel is much nicer than most of the ones further in town. We would stay here again next time. Good gym, spa and great bar area for cocktails.
We stayed here after travelling through Vietnam for 3 weeks. It was absolutely amazing to stay in an 'island' room, even though the weather was cold.
Our room was on the lake in a pavilion room which was a little bit like being in a goldfish bowl! we had windows all around but people could walk right by the bed with windows on both sides and then a huge window out onto the lake. While being lovely, we could not open the doors because of the mosquitoes. The blinds had to be either up or down; venetian blinds would be better.
