"For a five star property the service at this hotel was a distinct disappointment. Being attached to a casino it has several restaurant choices but our experience with them over several days was not particularly good. There seems to be a lack of pride in this hotel with staff frequently talking about "them" suggesting that any problems belonged to someone else in "management". Even when I was checking out a negative comment about our experience was met with a response that suggested a lack of interest by the staff member. Go for the facilities not the food or service. Renovations:
From now until February 2010, we will be undertaking a partial renovation of selected Club InterContinental guest rooms which will represent a whole new level of luxury in Perth. Works will take place Monday to Friday between 0730 to 1730 hours and Saturday from 0900 to 1300 hours, with minimal disturbance to guests, and will be managed to ensure we continue to deliver on our commitment to guest satisfaction and service.
