awesome hotel, great spot overlooking the harbour, close to town and the rocks. Can't fault a thing. Service was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again if i was to visit Sydney again. Great choice in restaurants as well.
All staff were extreemly helpful & friendly, nothing was too much. The best hotel I have stayed at in Sydney.
they upgraded us when we checked in to a Watson Bay View room, which was awesome. the views from the pool were amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful we will stay there next time we're in sydney
Excellent location for Circular Quay, Museum of Sydney and Opera House area; breakfast was substantial.
Highly recommended - first class
Everything was fabulous ... great location ... fabulous view from room ... hotel facilities and amenities all great. $45 for parking (per day) is a bit rich though. Commercial rates - OK - but surely at least a discount for house guests.
Excellent hotel. Terrific location close to Circular Quay. botanic gardens and CBD
What a great hotel! The hotel was a beautiful facility and the rooms with large and clean. Their workout facility was among the best I have ever seen. They are in close proximity to the Circular Quay, Opera House, etc. We reserved over 60 days in advance, and thus got a significant discount which brought the price down, although all the hotels in that vicinity are very pricey. Would stay there and recommend it any time.
The Intercontinental is a lovely combination of the old former Colonial Secretary General and then the Premiers Office. They have kept all the lovely heritage facade whilst adding modern facilities, restaurants, bars and rooms. Our room had a sweeping view of the Botanical Gardens and Garden Island. I could just see the Opera House to the very left. The food was great, the staff were very friendly and the room clean and comfortable. If you don't like your pillow you can ring and request a new one, they keep from soft to firm. It was also a very short walk to Darling Harbour and the Rocks area. I would stay there again.
Staff extremely friendly and helpful.
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel in the past six months so I obviously thought it worthwhile staying there again. All the staff are exceptional! They could not be more helpful and accommodating - They ensure that you feel very special staying here!
Room service food was excellent, best ever and I have travelled the world.
Friendly and efficient check in staff, clean and well appointed room. $45 a night for carparking seemed excessive given the price of accomodation.
The Intercontinental is a great hotel. Luxurious and centrally located to everything the Sydney CBD has to offer. Friendly helpful staff, spacious rooms. Nothing negative about our experience.
Staying at this hotel was very comfortable and view from the room and swimming pool are just so beautiful. I would love to stay there again!
Very clean hotel. Excellent staff.
As a recently expired priority club member I felt I was not keen to renew as I very rarely get to stay at the hotels such as this one with 4 children to also accomodate. However our recent stay at the IC hotel was quite nice, despite the time of year (New Years Eve and exorbitant tariff!), the lack of inter connecting rooms, and having to have one parent with 2 children up the corridor, and the lack of prior warning of the fact that we would not be allowed access to the 31st floor for the fireworks. It would have been nice to have had the opportunity, especially for the children to witness this, which was our sole purpose for staying in Sydney at such a busy time of year. This should have been indicated to us at the time of reservation. However overall it is a beautiful hotel, great location, and I am pleased to report the beds and pillows are more comfortable from what I remember..
Excellent room fantastic views brilliant service And facilities.
