"I strongly recommend you to print and learn in advance where this hotel is situated and how possible to get it coz it`s not so easy if you do it by car. Porto is a labyrinth of streets most of them are one-way, it`s not easy to find neccesary streets by foot, what to say about car. Streets go up and down, no names at the houses. Horror! But foot-walking get some charm from this. Leave a car and go forward by foot!!! Have a nice days in Porto!" - Anonymous

Located in the heart of the city’s historical center, classified by UNESCO as World Heritage, it is installed in an 1800’s building officially classified as being of great architectural, historical and cultural value.
Having undergone recent remodelling, the hotel has 35 available rooms, Restaurant O Almada, Bar/Regional Cellar O Almadinha and a multi-purpose room.
Due to it's unique location, in the heart of Porto's historical centre, from here you can set foot to discover the city, between it's lively and picturesque streets and pathways that lead both to the magnificence of the past (Clérigos Tower, Former Relação Jail, Sé Cathedral, S. Francisco church, Infante Palace) and to the brilliancy of the modern (Arquitectural University, Serralves Museum and other work by M. Siza Vieira, Casa da Música).
The city, the history, the living of all a society that these sidewalks have to tell and all the heritage to interpret.
If outside there is a city to be felt, inside there is a comfortable and friendly atmosphere to be intensely enjoyed. |
