Hotel is old but with a nice ambience. Rooms are small. Service is good. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, the food was very good. Location is good with all of Porto within walking distance.
Nice hotel in a good location.
I strongly recommend you to print and learn in advance where this hotel is situated and how possible to get it coz it`s not so easy if you do it by car. Porto is a labyrinth of streets most of them are one-way, it`s not easy to find neccesary streets by foot, what to say about car. Streets go up and down, no names at the houses. Horror! But foot-walking get some charm from this. Leave a car and go forward by foot!!! Have a nice days in Porto!
very well and quiet run hotel this is my second visit to this hotel
Good little back street hotel, staff very friendly, room a little small, but quiet
Excellent location 2 mins from Sao Bento train station. It is a large, v.clean hotel with bar and restaurant, with a portugease decor inside. The rooms are standard size but fine if all you want to do is sleep there. No shower gel in bathroom so bring your own! The staff at the check-in desk were very helpful and speak english - they told us how to get to places/which train routes were best etc. And a cheap hotel so would definitely reccomend it
Cleanliness could be improved, especially in the bathroom where mould showed on the tile work around and above the bath.
Excellent accommodation which I would recommend!
