International Hotel Paris Guest Reviews

4 out of 5

Reasonable for the price.

3.6 out of 5

It`s a VERY small room with a VERY small bathroom but perfectly clean, warm and with nice small cafes and shopping places to get breakfast. It`s not very close to the museums and other beautiful places bu tht etrain station is 1 block away and from there you can go everywhere. They don`t have coffee or tea facilities in the room, but there`s not any space anyway!!

I consider the breakfast quite overpriced for what we get, many hotels of the same range charge basically the same for a buffet breakfast. Also there is very little storage capacity in the rooms to put clothes, leaving us no other choice than leaving it in our bags/suitcases. Staff is pleasant and helpful.

Clean small hotel close to many restaurants and 5 min walking from the metro station. Nothing extraordinary but good price/quality ratio.

The WiFi offered for 2 EURO per weekend does not go up to the 4th floor. They only have 1 base station that cannot reach more then 2 floors, so you have to go down to get a connection. Everything else was fine, nice people.

A clean and quite hotel. Rooms are small but confortable. Breakfast (extra charged) is poor.

The hotel is basic but clean and in a good location. It was very easy to access via the metro/RER. Also, the staff was friendly.

This hotel was a superb value, though not what anyone could call deluxe. It is relatively well located, very near to a Métro station on a main line, or a short walk to a major square (Place de la Républic)where lots of cafés are to be found. It is a little off the beaten path, away from the major tourist sites, but still very accessible. Please note to tell your cab driver that it faces Rue August Barbier BEHIND the Avenue Parmentier address. August Barbier is too small to be on most maps. Staff was wonderfully friendly and very, very helpful, especially with sight-seeing recommendations. The rooms are small, spare, and more shabby than chic, but it's in Paris, so you should be spending most of your time elsewhere. The elevator (Hooray, there is one!) is tiny, but worked just fine. The price was such a good deal that it allowed us to splurge on other things without breaking our budget. Unless you're on a honeymoon, I'd happily recommend l'Hôtel International.

This was a great hotel for the price - clean, relatively quiet, and in a great location. After much stress over picking the right place to stay in Paris, I was very relieved and happy with what we ended up with.

The room was very modest, small, not much closet space but it was clean, and price was very agreeable. The staff was so friendly and always ready to assist with your planning of tourist activity. In comparsion, I'm now staying in a four star hotel that my company required me to stay in and the staff doesn't know me or wouldn't recognize me if they had too. So a smaller hotel does have appeal from that point of view.
