Island Pacific Hotel Hong Kong

It was great hotel but the location was not great. The staff was friendly and the room was clean

The hotel met our needs. The staff was very helpful in many ways, for instance, directing the best way to get around town and majority of the staff spoke english. The hotel is in an older part of town, but we felt safe there. We would definitely come back to Hong Kong and this hotel.

Our second visit to this hotel, would use this property again if visiting Hong Kong

Overall rating of the place was good. The rooms were clean, the staff were nice and helpful. The buffet was excellent, and reasonably priced. However, the photo of the room is deceiving bec the size of the room is on the small side, which is common for HK hotels. I had to transfer to a larger room, but it was worth it. We enjoyed our stay

Staff was generally efficient. Especially helpful was the lady in the Business Center who helped us clarify the status of our booking with our booking agent.

Very helpful staff ,room clean and ok for size would recommend this hotel .

Good price for value. Not far away from Central by bus, tram or taxi. No subway stop.

Very nice hotel located west of Central on Hong Kong Island, but near a tram stop which will take you to Central in five minutes for only HKD 2. The room was spacious with all necessities. Great view if you get a room on one of the top floors. The hotel has a very nice outdoor and staffed swimming pool, just as the hotel has a fine gym. The hotel staff was very friendly and extremely helpful 24/7. Would definitely stay at this hotel for our next visit in Hong Kong.

The hotel was excellent, staff was most helpful, the room size, facilities and furnishing was very good, the view from our room was with harbour view, worth every minutes and able to see the lights of Homg Kong. We will go back to the hotel again. A most enjoyable time in this hotel.

Although a little out of the way, transport links are excellent and hotel provides shuttle bus service. Friendly and courteous staff who cannot do enough for you. Rooms very clean and beds comfortable. would definitely recommend this hotel if you are on a budget as price excellent.

Nice view on the harbour, staff responsive to your requests, clean and nice room with an awesome bathroom. Definitely recommend it. The only thing missing would be free internet and it's the perfect place to stay.

Great hotel - a bit out of the way but only 10 minutes on the tram which is a whole experience in itself. Room was small but the harbour view was excellent (when we could see through the smog) Staff were great.

A nice hotel with excellent staff, rooms are a little small. Bad experience with the in room safe which had to be opened by security every time. I was told that it was the battetry that needed replacing ! but no one bothered to change it. Good value for money.

When we walked outside the hotel we realised why the price was reasonable, the area was awful. Evening buffet was only Japanese every night and breakfast was expensive 14 per person!!! The hotel pool was outside and freezing cold, too cold to swim. The staff however were very friendly and helpful. We would not stay there again.

Very small room but adequate. This hotel rips customers off with very high laundry charges and high internet costs. Definitely would not stay here again.

This Hotel is well located with trams opposite and easy access to MTR I would definately stay there again. The rooms were quiet and service was excellent.

I like the hotel and will stay in the sam hotel in the future.

Wonderful service and the staff were very friendly, professional and accomodating. Room was not very big, so if you are looking for a place that is roomy....this would definately not be the place. The room however, was well appointed and the cleaning staff were prompt and thorough. The location was good, as it was closer to the water (ie: trips over to Kowloon/Macau), however, get a room that is on one of the higher floors, as it could be a bit noisy with the constant traffic at this location.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Location is not the best but quite convenient if you know which bus to catch and there is always trams to Central to connect to MTR. Overall we had enjoyed our stay in this hotel especially in a harbour view room. Getting to hotel from airport is easy, simply catch A10 bus from airport and get off first stop after the Harbour Tunnel, only 2 mins walk to hotel.
