Islander Resort Hotel Gold Coast

very central, had everything I needed, including undercover parking. easy walk to everything. nightclub loud but it is in the building and I knew it was when I booked, still able to sleep. would reccommend hotel and will stay there again.

Good value for money for those on a budget. Spacious & clean, although in need of spruce up as it is a little outdated. Bed was comfortable and in a handy location.

It was a good location. I only stayed one night there , and overall it was a good and nice place

Well I would gladly stay at this hotel anytime. The price was fantastic and being right in the heart of it all was just great. The decor probably a bit dated in some respects, but the room was clean and the view i had form the 11th floor (top floor) was fabulous - I know i'll be going back there if I need to stay on the Coast for business again.

Avaliability on short notice was great and to be able to have only 1nite stay is very welcomed

On the whole, this was a very good experience except that the bar only caters for CASH and not credit CARD. That was very offputting. Also food and drinks should be able to be paid together not separately.

As a first time visitor to this area I found the staff very helpful

This hotel is getting a bit old and the patio was all falling apart and I thought it was dangerous. They are charging too much for such an old hotel.

We booked a double and requested a king size bed. When we arrived we were told that we were being upgraded and in fact had a rom that had a full kitchen as well as the king sized bed, so naturally we were very impressed. The location was central, as we did not have a car this suited us. The only other comment is that there was not sufficient/ a safe gap between the shower nozzle and the ceilnig in the bathroom for a taller than average person to be safe. I don't remember a thankyou card but maybe it was inlcuded with the three vouchers we received for drinks etc., at teh Vegas Bar?

I was a little dissapointed in the room we received, after staying in a bigger, nicer room last year at the Islander this room was very small, and falling apart pretty much. The location and facilities a very good, rooms just need fixing or updating.

A nice friendly hotel with a fabulous location, right next to the bus station, 5 mins walk from the beach, and right in the heart of the action with regards to restaurants, shops and pubs. Internet cafe situated right below it. Excellent value for money.

Our stay was pleasant and I was very happy with the service.

staff was not kind room was dirty

the hotel it self was old but very clean and staff made us feel welcome. The resturant had good meals and the bar and gaming lounge were fun. The amount of facilities available were amazing and we will need to stay longer next time to enjoy them all.

also has a backpackers attached. Can be very noisy but in a great location,friendly and efficient staff.
