This is an excellent hotel right in the centre of the city. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking excellent, but costs $20 per day. You get an allocated space which is easy to access. It's worth the charge. No servicing of apartment or replacement towels without charge. This is fair enough given the tariff.
Good value for money. Basic services for a low cost. While the hotel is centrally located, it is adjacent to night clubs which are noisy well into the night and morning.
It was a surprise to find that we had to pay a $15 parking fee to park in a parking building a block again. This made the stay a bit less cheap than it had initially appeared. The place was clean but the room was small. It was a handy place to stay, being close to the square, and within an easy walk from the Arts Centre and the Art Gallery.
The two-bedroom apartment we stayed in was very clean. It was very compact though but people can still move around. However, the fridge and the basin in the bathroom needed to be fixed, which was serviced straight away. Street noise can be heard from our apartment as it was very close to the main street in the CBD so we had to close our windows to make the apartment sound proof. There was free off street parking at night from 6pm-9am but one might have to be careful where to park because we caught some teenagers stepping on the cars parked on the side of the hotel's entrance. Overall, it was a good apartment.
Excellent value, well equipped unit, but very small and a little cramped, but overall fantastic.
Very impressed with the facilities that we found. Did find that there was a high amount of noise from the local bars but this was expected due to the location of istay. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Perfectly clean in every aspect (kitchen, utensils, toilet etc). Service was good and the location is perfect. For the price we got, I would say great stay! Wish I'd stayed longer.
Great location, good facilities in the 2 bedroom apartment. Some slight damage which we assumed were due to the earthquake (but this dosn't really explain why the TV cables are sellotaped to the skirting board rather than installed in a tidy-manner). Access to the guest laundry was good and not that expensive (NZ$8 for a wash and dry). Internet was a bit pricey though (NZ$15/day).
Would definately recommend this hotel. The room was very very good (executive studio). The only downside was that beyond the initial coffee/milk provided - you needed to buy more. Also for clean towels, any shampoo etc. Not a major issue though.
Handy central location, easy walk to everything.Helpful reception staff. Had all we needed and would stay there again.
Great place to stay and excellent value for money! The staff were only too happy to help out with any request. The location is good too - close to really trendy wine bars and small laneways as well as the central city bus exchange.
Well located situation providing clean - comfortable - affordable accommodation. Friendly helpful staff only minor criticism was that furniture could be updated in living area to provide a little ambience,
clean and nice place except they forget a curtain to place on the balcony door.
A very clean unit. Bathroom a bit small but adequate. Very accessible to the city centre and staff very obliging. Thanks
Execellent hotel, but parking is nightmare being so close to busy gym so have to pay extra for there parking. mind you, you have to pay just about everywere in Christchurch to park your car.
Good standard of accommodation close to the centre of Chch - service was very polite and a call to reception in the evening for a tv remote that did not work was quickly dealt with - would recommend
Good place to stay in central Christchurch, comfortable & clean
Too noisy being close to night clubs.
Very clean. Very friendly staff - l was able to book in for an extra night at the same rate as I booked online. The location was very close to the CBD but far enough that the night life didn't intrude too much.
Small room, but had everything that was needed. Great for a short stay overnight.
