This beautiful 2 stars Gay Friendly Hotel, housed in an authentic monumental Canal House, is the ideal base for visiting Amsterdam. Behind the facade of this fine classified residential monument, situated on Prinsengracht and overlooking a quiet stretch of this Amsterdam's grandest canal, you'll find yourself in the heart of ancient Amsterdam the moment you walk out of the door. We offer charming accomodations with canal view and have twenty rooms. The ITC Hotel is located in a beautiful neighbourhoud just a few doors from many restaurants, markets, cafés and bars at the Prinsengracht 1051. We are just 3 minutes walk from Rembrandplein, the main area for nightlife in Amsterdam. Being established in a 18th century canal house, no room looks the same.

Getting there:From the Schiphol Airport you can take a taxi or train. The train (€ 3,- for a ticket) takes you to Central Station, also the last stop for the boat train from Hoek van Holland. Take tram nr.4 in front of the station (€ 1,40) to the Prinsengracht stop. You will see the hotel, 30 metres from the tramstop on the right side. If you have a lot of luggage you may be prefer to take a taxi from Central Station, which will cost you approx. € 8,00. A taxi from Schiphol Airport to the hotel will cost about € 30,-.

Luckily we were only sleeping here, the room was a bit of a mess, the wardrobe falling to pieces and the floor made us feel stoned even when we weren't because it was so wonky. The room was so small that it was possible to get a shower and go to the toilet without getting out of bed.
Got upgraded from single-basic to twin room for the same price, staying at one of the three ITC hotels. it was called Townhouse/Townshed hotel or somehing like that and is situated just across the street from the ITC hotel address listed here. Good location in town but when i was in Amsterdam the trams were not going as usual and it became a bit confusing finding the hotel. The staircase was VERY steep and narrow, and the room the most minimalism i have seen (though you get candy on the provided towels, which was rather cute). Only shared toilets available and the shower/drain in the room was a bit clotted. Good cheese shop next to the place too. Would recommend to strict budget travellors.

The staff at the hotel is very friendly and the location is great, right in the centre. Room was a bit small but it was clean and I would definitely recommend the hotel if your budget is not too high.
Itc Hotel is very good situated. Walking distance to most locations. Daytime bus "jump on/off" stops just outside the hotel. The tram stops around the corner. The rooms in the basement could be better.....
It was easy to get to the main attractions of Amsterdam from this hotel, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Great location, really know how to direct you if you are a gay traveller. Great location, yet still really quit. Be aware that the rooms are like a loft, I loved it, made it feel like you lived in a cool apartment, but if your expecting a big hotel room, this is not the place for you. I would definalty stay there again.
the staff here were very helpful and they spoke great english. The hotel is situated in a great place by the tram stop, but it can be a bit noisy with the trams going past. the steps up to the room were rater steep but as long as you ae carefull its fine!. The room was basic but clean, im used to camping alot so it was luxury to me- those used to hotels might find it a tad too basic. overall a good hotel and good value for money- i would stay there again.
Nice hotel, lovely area. Pity I was given a room on the basement floor facing a wall. But it was a good deal and, anyway, I only use hotel rooms to sleep in.
EXCEPTIONALLY friendly and helpful staff -- even though I was arriving very late at the property and probably seemed haggard! The next morning another person was at the desk and was ALSO extremely friendly and helpful... Must say, I am very pleased.
