"Curtain in bathroom is a bit of a pain when trying to shower as the bath is not very wide the curtain deeps sticking to you. If it was shorter it would be a lot better. At the moment if you wanted to take a bath you would be doing so with the curtain in it!!!!" - Anonymous

Our location has fabulous Lake views from the guest lounge and spa deck with shared guest kitchen and lounge. Hot spa and laundry facilities. Help yourself to complimentary continental breakfast and refreshment provisions supplied daily. 300 metres to the lakefront, city centre, cafes, restaurants and bars . By car south from Taupo: Follow the main street, which is Fenton Street, to the lakefront. Turn left onto Whakaue Street then turn right at round-about onto Lake Road and proceed straight through a second round-about (Lake Road). Continue up Lake Road to number 21 and you will find Lake Road Lodge on your right-hand side.
By car north from Auckland: Turn left off Fairy Springs Road at major intersection on to Lake Road (intersection will have a BP petrol station on one corner and an empty lot with billboards on another corner). Continue along Lake Road until another set of lights, turn left at these lights. Continue up Lake Road a little way until number 21 where you will find Lake Road Lodge on your left-hand side, just before the village green and lakefront. - you can call on our toll free number if you require assistance. |

On arrival, park in front of the Lodge. Walk down the pathway to the telephone located at the main entrance to the Lodge. Call 357 4294 for your security code to enter the building and be directed to your room. Make yourself at home, relax & enjoy! |
