Guy I spoke to at 8am had seen 3 before breakfast:-) Freshly painted & well appointed. Hotel description:    For a relaxed, peaceful and safe family holiday then this is the place to be. A lake view motel in idyllic surroundings. Room to move with activities galore for everyone and only a stones throw to the lake. Take a book, go fishing, have a swim or just watch the world go by. Large self-contained and air-conditioned lake view units, which accommodate up to 6 guests (40 guests in total). Full kitchen in every unit and all linen is supplied.
Guest laundry facilities. Large gardens with BBQ and recreational areas. Parking available for caravans, motor-homes, boats and trailers. Free use of the hot spa, spa towels, kayaks, extra large trampoline and children's playhouse. Free local telephone calls. All rooms are serviced daily. Go fishing - 2 minutes walk to the renowned Waiteti Trout Stream. Take a float plane to geothermal areas from the lakefront. A 10 minute drive to the centre of Rotorua and we are on the bus route, 15-20 minutes to the city centre. Close to the Agrodome, Mitai Hangi & Concert, Rainbow Springs and Skyline Skyrides. We can arrange bookings for Maori concerts and tourist attractions on request. Group bookings welcome.

Getting there: Turn left off State Highway 5 at traffic island to Ngongotaha. Travel through the Ngongotaha village, after crossing railway tracks take 2nd turning right on to Waiteti Road, continue towards lakefront and turn right onto Arnold Street and to Waiteti Lakefront Resort Motel.

Travel from Rotorua Airport - Shuttle from airport (NZ$35 for the vehicle for 1 person and $3 per person extra - 20 minutes).

Taxi from Rotorua Airport (approx NZ$30 for 1 - 4 people - 20 minutes)

Regular Bus service to city operates every 1/2 hour $2.

If you arrive when the office is closed, please call us from the telephone (Press 0), located in the laundry at Waiteti Lakefront Motel in between units 4 and 5.
