"The hotel looked rather unimpressive from outside, but was stylish and cosy inside. The staff very friendly and accomodating. The room was unusually French in character, and smacks of a French country house. The gym was handy. It is within 5 minutes' walk from Arts et Metiers metro station, and slightly more from Republique station. The neighborhood was clean and charming in a Parisian way, certainly not touristy. A good base to explore Le Marais and to see Picasso Museum plus Place des Vosges. Highly recommended for anyone tired of Les Champs Elysee." - Kam Kwong Lam

"A nice hotel between le Marais and la Republique. My room was small for a double room, but that is the case in many Paris hotels of this cathegory. The decoration is very nice. I would hesitate to pay the desk price though. " - Libor Husnik
