Jacques De Molay Hotel Paris

This is a hidden jewel in Paris. Location is excellent, the stuff are wonderful. Rooms a bit little, but nothing beats the charm of the hotel in the center of Paris. It was a wonderful experience and I'd go back anytime. Give a try!

The hotel looked rather unimpressive from outside, but was stylish and cosy inside. The staff very friendly and accomodating. The room was unusually French in character, and smacks of a French country house. The gym was handy. It is within 5 minutes' walk from Arts et Metiers metro station, and slightly more from Republique station. The neighborhood was clean and charming in a Parisian way, certainly not touristy. A good base to explore Le Marais and to see Picasso Museum plus Place des Vosges. Highly recommended for anyone tired of Les Champs Elysee.

A nice hotel between le Marais and la Republique. My room was small for a double room, but that is the case in many Paris hotels of this cathegory. The decoration is very nice. I would hesitate to pay the desk price though.

Our stay was very pleasant, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless. The location was really lovely and only 10 - 15 min walk to the centre. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends. Paris in the spring is wonderful!! Orla - Ireland.

The hotel was in a fantastic location in the Marias district and the room we stayed in was very clean. However, we had the power go out in our room twice during our stay. On both occassions reception accused us of having something plugged in, when we advised them that we hadn't and that all we had on was the lights and TV the hotel room, they attended to fix the problem. The breakfast in the hotel was okay, but recommend you go out to the nearby patisseries, where you will get more for you money.

We booked our room on the net and stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. It is a nice little place with extremely friendly and helpful staff who spoke good English. The room was small but clean with a nice bathroom en suite. The breakfast was fine but nothing to write home about and not really worth 10 Euro but having been to France before, I had learnt not to have any great expectations when it comes to breakfasts! The only real critisism or disappointment was that we had booked a double bed and upon arrival found it was a twin room and that there were no double beds available. The second night, they put something in the beds to hold them together and it was ok but definitely a disappointment as this was a much longed for romantic weekend!! We got a good last minute price of 90 euro but their standard price of 176 euro is a bit steep in my opinion. All in all, a great little hotel if you can get a deal, good location, the staff is super and we would definitely return another time.

We stayed at the hotel in April and were very impressed with the service. The staff was at all times very attentive, helpful and inviting. The rooms were immaculate. We would highly recommend this hotel and hopefully be able to return very soon.

At the promotional (summer) rate this hotel is value for money.

We were delighted with both the imaginative, comfortable rooms and the attentiveness of the employees who were professional in their behavior and friendly without being familiar. We especially appreciated the effort made to make our whole family feel at ease. The location was good as far as our feeling safe and the street is not noisy.

Attentive but not intrusive service, bright and quirky decor, and good deal on price raise this above the average small hostelry.

This hotel is fantastically located in the heart of the Marais, easily walkable from Chatelet where the CDG airport train comes in. There is a wonderfully eccentric flea market virtually next door. So much is within walking distance. Like many Paris hotels the rooms are small. But these were appealingly decorated and very quiet. Breakfast was continental (though you can boil an egg in the cute egg boiler) and of high quality. The staff were exceptionally friendly. Very highly recommend.

Attentive staff and lovely decoration make this hotel a best buy. Breakfast excellent! Also, the Marais district is close to everything but calm at the same time.
