Getting there:Direct access from the State Highway 1, take The Terrace offramp and drive straight into the hotel forecourt. 5 minutes by car from Wellington Railway Station and the Interisland Ferry Terminal. 15 minutes by car from Wellington International Airport.
Check-in Procedure:Please provide valid credit card for imprint on check in. If no credit card is supplied at check-in a $200NZD bond is required. Good Location, Comfortable but had to change rooms as the one reserved for us had no Air Con and was fronting the road so could not open windows as noisy. Staff reset the Air Con but then it rattled. Their reaction was "put up with it, or we can change you to another room", poor attitude and felt they only gave us the first room as we booked through the club, other room was much better though as much higher. Best if you specify rooms above the 10th floor due to street noise though.

Every thing was easy and straight forward at check-in and the room was spotless and airy. Bed comfortable, no road noise, so good nights sleep. Didn't use restaurant but everything you want is within walking distance. Nice to have the car taken care of with no worries about parking etc. Very helpful and friendly staff
It was a good experience from checking in to checking out. The only suggestion is that the "Happy Hour" starts at 5.30 and runs to 7.30pm. It was almost over before I got in from work!
This hotel was in a great location - east walking distance to the water and lots of restaurants, etc. We were surprised with the extra charge for using a credit card to pay.

The experience was better than expected. Very quite although in the hart of the city.
Have stayed there before and like the location. We bought a package that we thought included some free drinks but no mention made at reception. No breakfast included in package. We got a $50 store voucher included in the package. Later spotted we could have had got slightly cheaper deal that included breakfasts at the same hotel.
A well located , central hotel. Room was spacious, and bed comfortable. Having stayed here several times, I can recommend this hotel.

Check in was excellent. I arrived early wanting a 2hr early check in, no problems. I often travel alone so value the concierge services, which were extremely good. When I asked about cinemas a young concierge suggested I visit the historic Embassy Theatre which was lovely. Great stay in Wellington - unseasonably good weather and really enjoyed the hotel.
