Our second stay at the Jayakarta. Our room overlooked the pool and was very clean and tidy. We had excellent service and the resort in close to shops. Another enjoyable stay at the Jayakarta. Great pools and eating facilities. Everything you would want in a beach front resort.
This was our first stay at Jayakarta Beach Resort and though the location was great so were the staff they were very friendly and helpfull only thing was it was very expensive to eat and drink more than a 5 star hotel.
Highly recommended, stunning pools and great location. Will definitely book here again.
We stayed in the apartments attached to the hotel. These are in need of a refurbishment. Hotel staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful from the time we arrived at 11.30pm (greeting us with a refreshing cold hand towel and welcome drink) to our departure. Great location with plenty of restaurants and shops just outside the gates.
A beautiful place to stay in a beautiful location.
Fantastic location. The world is not perfect. Would go back.
Booked this hotel 10 months in advance and wanted 2 rooms together. Didn't happen and to full to change on arrival. Musty room smell and damp linen on bed. Convenient location, pool great and food good.
This was our first time to Bali and we found the Jayakarta Beach Resort & Spa Bali very good. It is a great family hotel, my friends and I found the staff unbelieveably friendly. Breakfast was great and highly recommend. The afternoon massage was fantastic by the pool and then drinks in the restraunt. The staff at the pool bar are very friendly and the markets made shopping easy and affordable without leaving the hotel...Great location for going to the shopping district and Billy's Bar....thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The only bigger thing is that there was only 1 chair for two people in the balcony. In spite of our couple questions we didn't get the other one.
Excellent service, staff and location. The best experience i ever had in a hotel. Was there with my wife and son and had the beach cottage. The staff was extremely helpful. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable and the breakfast spread was grand. Extremely good value for money.
The location was perfect for me and my 15 year old son. The boogy boarding and surfing were great right on the beach in front of the hotel. The hotel facilities were fine, although the first room they showed us was musty. It was a working vacation for me, so I would have appreciated a more convenient way to do email than to walk out front to the business office, the only location in the hotel complex for internet access.
Breakfast could be better
Jayakarta is in an excellent location, close to shopping, right on the beach, lots of restaurants close by. buffet breakfast was good and plentiful. gym equipment was old and broken. overall the resort stay was wonderful, relaxing and although it rained alot while there, i had a wonderful time.
A mid-side resort full of families with children and some tour groups, not far from busy area of the Kuta beach. The rooms are old and a little dark. Breakfast buffet selection is poor. But the staff was very helpful and friendly. Not a bad option for what you pay.
Fabulous setting, grounds & spa. Most staff polite, friendly & helpful. For 4* deluxe rooms, bathrooms & fridges v shabby. Restaurants a wasted resource- barely patronised except b/fast -often part of inclusive deal. Food poor - international cuisine failed miserably. Wine list very limited & expensive & then some not in stock- no chilled white available . Served a 'corked' bottle of Jacobs Creek- replacement bottle was refused. Staff stood by our table for at least 10 mins insisting we pay for this undrinkable wine - most intimidating. We felt unable to eat most of meal which became cold, greasy & unpalatable. Hotel refused any gesture of goodwill re meal ruined by their restaurant manager's behaviour claiming deducting cost of the wine was enough compensation. This situation marred our stay in Bali - such a pity as with refurbishment, improved catering and training for certain staff in internationally acceptable service, this hotel has potential to be a wonderful resort.
Suitable for all
Very good hotel to stay for leisure & enjoy at the beach...
I have just returned from staying at the Jayakarta for the 1st time. It's in an awesome location, right on the beach front & close to shopping & restaurants. The gardens & 3 pools are stunning; the largest pools I've ever swam in. My only criticism would be the lack of spirits in the bar(s). Daily I was told my favourite & popular 'poison' would "be in tomorrow" but it never arrived. Overall, however, I have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel.
Excellent hotel in a great location. Recommend a deluxe room over a standard (works out only slight more expensive).
We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel and actually extended our stay by a further 4 days and were charged the same rate. We will definately be staying there again
