The hotel is wonderful, the location was great and the room was immaculate. We were very very pleased! We walked to everything, the Gaudi, the Picasso museum, tons of shopping! The restaurant selection was fantastic and the hotel was spacious and perfect.
Well located hotel in central Barcelona. However, therte are few aspects guests should be aware of, namely the metro goes under the hotel and can be quite noisey (ask for higher floor), no tea making facilities and the in ternet did not work on the first floor. On the positive side the hotel is modern and clean, however the room rate I believe is on the hifgh side as a breakfast costs an additional 10.70 (Euros) per person...that is expensive for a continental breakfast! Best tip is to get the Bus from the airport as it is much cheaper than taxis and is convenient to the hotel.
Great location, very clean, modern and the staff were extreamly helpful. I would stay here again when visiting Barcelona and highly recommend this hotel to others.
Excellent location, large room, very good breakfast buffet and very friendly and helpful staff. This hotel is clearly well above the average three-star level.
Overall, my experience at Hotel Jazz was excellent if not '5-star'. Pros: - Amazing location, right next to metro station and 5min walk from La Rambla. - Great rooftop pool (which was deserted when I went there so had it all to myself). - Well-appointed rooms, especially the amount of personal care products provided in the room (incl. toothpaste/toothbrush). - Clean and safe with attentive staff. - Excellent design / modern. Cons: - When I asked the staff for restaurant recommendations, they pulled out a couple of business cards and I didn't get the sense that these were the best restaurants I could've gone to but ones that they were somehow getting compensation for promoting. The one restaurant I did try was still quite good for tapas. - Loss of money (although I'm not blaming the hotel here, just use the safe, that's all).
Excellent hotel which is definitely more than a 3-star establishment. Nice design, huge bed, good and friendly service. The only negative aspect was that the lady at check-out didnt want to honor the deposit but wanted to charge the complete price, she was pretty angry when I showed her the reservation and calculated it again for her, but finally accepted. Very relaxed and good service by the two guys at breakfast.
Great hotel, good location and v good price. Rooms spacious and modern, lovely bar. Only downside was no iron in the room but you can ask at reception for items to be pressed for you.
This was a very clean and modern hotel in a great location. The front desk and bar personnel were very helpful when it came to checking out the city and finding good places to hang out. Check out Los Caracoles for an unforgettable meal and Las Cuevas for a great drink.
The hotel is very clean, situated close to the metro and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
Jazz Hotel is excellent. The room was on the 7th level after requesting a room change at reception (originally on the second level). No problems with requests at reception, always helpful and did everything to see us fixed up and on our way. The room was very comfortable, king size bed, great airconditioning, double glazing kept the busy street noises out (very quiet). The hotel is located above the metro which was excellent to get around Barcelona. Great location for shops, restaurants and metro. Very clean hotel. Breakfast was also excellent. Don't forget the roof top pool, another big plus. All up a 5 star hotel recommended to everyone.
Very clean, modern hotel with helpful staff. Only negative point is that staff did not book restaurant we requested in time, so we had to go to alternative which they highly recommended. In the event, the POSIT restaurant was disappointing. Slow service, average food and high prices.
Great Hotel. Great Location, Great City.
Perfect reception, fantastic styling, very clean, modern and good facilities. The only fault is that we stayed on the third floor of this hotel and were shaken every time a metro train went underneath the hotel! It did keep us awake during the night but apparently the higher floor that you stayed the less you heard so if you go make sure you are on floor 5 to 7!
Very good hotel, room was very spacious and clean. Bathroom was large with seperate power shower. Small pool on the roof was a bonus and nice place to cool down. Location was brilliant, easy access to tourist areas and main metro line. highly recommeded
Just back from a lovely time in Barcelona. Something for everyone to do. The location of the Jazz Hotel is great as it is just off La Ramblas (which is the place you want to be). Asked from a room move from lst floor due to outside noise and was moved within the day to 6th floor which was much better. Bedrooms are spacious and very clean. Breakfast was plentiful with something for everyone to eat. Roof top pool was small but perfectly fine for cooling off after a hard day sightseeing. The only problem was that there was not enough sun loungers and the ones that were there some were broken. Staff were very friendly and courteous.
A very fine hotel in a splendid location. The rooms are great. Lots of space, fine beds, beautiful bathroom. Hardly any noise from the inside of outside. The staff is very kind an correct. The breakfest is overwhelming in choice as well as quality. On a next visit to Barcelona, the Jazz hotel will definitely be my first choice !!
Excellent location, great tapas across the street.
This hotel is as good as everyone says it is. The location is just tremendous and if you get any sort of deal will be good value. Was especially taken by the free internet which when traveling on business is a real plus. If you have been to Barcelona before, get off the Aerobus at the University stop which is a bit closer to the hotel. If you are a first timer go to the final bus stop at Placa Catalunya and soak up the atmosphere on the short walk to the hotel. There is a small pool on top and a even sea view (just!). Forget about talk of noise from the street, metro etc - it really is not a problem and having the metro (in fact two stations) just around the corner is a good benefit. Bag yourself a real deal while you can. I can only highly recommend this hotel.
Superb hotel, in super location, ideal for seeing the city, right next to metro and fiveminutes from aerobus stop for the airport. the famous ramblas is right on the doorstep, every time you walk up and down you see something different! hotel staff very welcoming and helpful. would certainly stay here again.
Very nice design hotel. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Good location. Good value per price!
