"We arrived early one morning, well before check in time but was greeted by the owner and immediately shown up to our room. The room was typical haveli style with a wonderful window seat looking out on to one of the best hotel room views we have ever experienced. From our balcony we had an uninterrupted vista of the lake with the Meherangarh Fort in the background. The room and bathroom was very clean and the meals, enjoyed on the roof terrace were excellent. One night we suggested that we would like a Thali, which was off the menu. The owner (a trained chef) was happy to discuss with us what we would like and presented us with one of the best meals we had during our visit to India. Highly recommended." - roy barber
