"We were amazed at the number of restaurants within the Jin Jiang Hotel. The hotel is actually a complex and consists of about 4 different buildings. Within the complex there are over 10 restaurants to choose from. We had a lovely Shanghainese dinner at Yin. Close to a subway station. Probably not as convenient to Nanjing Road if that´s your thing but there is a better shopping street located nearby." - Anonymous

"The Cathay Garden part of the complex is very well run with the top fourth and fifth floors smoke-free. The breakfast buffets are outstanding.
The rooms and their bathrooms are generous in size , including a proper desk arrangement with internet access. The down-pillows and beds are near perfect as a sleep away from home.

Then there is Jin Jiang Grand Hall, the site where the Shanghai Communiqué—an important document in U.S.-China relations—was signed during President Richard Nixon’s Groundbreaking trip to China in 1972. Today, you can use the same Grand Hall for conferences, banquets and other professional events.
