Everything is good, it is recommended to stay here, although its location is not very good, but the other good things make this OK.

Excellent hotel and could not fault it in any way
We had a memorable stay at the hotel. The moment we step out of the taxi to the check-in counter to the room, it was nothing but WOW! The restaurant and cafe served excellent food at reasonable price. The staff are helpful, friendly and honest. Although its says no tipping, we still tip the guy (forgot to ask for his name)who sent our luggage up. He politely told us that this hotel accept no tips. What a wonderful place to stay, we exclaimed. Thanks to the Management. As for location, though it is situated in the residential area, getting around is easy. Taxis are available any time. Also commendable is that the staff will diligently note down the taxi no. on a card with details of the hotel for guest for reference. Will stay in Best Western Xiamen Central Hotel again. :))

Great hotel made even better by the wonderful staff. Everyone speaks English (the hotels gives them training and tests). Nothing was too much trouble and they made you feel very welcome. Really recommend staying here.
This is a hotel that has old style elegance. It is located in a poorer part of Xiamen and not much good if one is looking for the tourist facilities. The hotel is well appointed, the staff are superb and go out of their way to be welcoming, helpful and friendly. Food in the buffet restaurant is always tasty and intersting. There are three other good restaurants. Hotel is well known and easily accessible. The tourist facilties are only a $5-00 taxi ride away. If you are looking for comfort, excellent service and a home away from home this hotel is for you.
