"Nice hotel, good location near train station and airport and downtown. Good, fast service - they even speak English. Despite being close to main road, the double-glazing kept it quiet in the B-block. The breakfast buffett was very good, with a good range of food, and what a view over Kunming! There was a fruit basket on arrival that did not change, green tea was a possibility, no sign of coffee. No mini bar either - which made the large deposit demanded when I booked in a little confusing.
Despite being on the 6th floor and at the rear of the hotel I did not get a single nights sleep that was not disturbed by noise from the street.
On the plus side - do go for the breakfast buffet from the "revolving" restuarant - it doesn't seem to move, but it offers great views (on those few days when the air is clear)." - Anonymous
