Jinjiang Hotel is located next to a health club. It is near shopping area and it's very conveninet to travel around. This hotel is highly recommended.
Clean and modern but non smoking room reeked of smoke. No complimentary drinking water provided. Near train station but not many good restaurant choices within walking distance.

The hotel is allright.
The air-conditioning system is centralised. The temperature is pre-set and we find it real uncomfortable during our stay.
Nice hotel, good location near train station and airport and downtown. Good, fast service - they even speak English. Despite being close to main road, the double-glazing kept it quiet in the B-block. The breakfast buffett was very good, with a good range of food, and what a view over Kunming! In the room the facilities are OK. And for the price - 350 yuan - it was good value.
Breakfast was wonderful and the tour to the Stone Forest arranged at the hoel tour desk was very interesting.
Little to fault
The Hotel's listing says: Complimentary coffee/tea and fresh fruit, replenished daily There was a fruit basket on arrival that did not change, green tea was a possibility, no sign of coffee. No mini bar either - which made the large deposit demanded when I booked in a little confusing. Despite being on the 6th floor and at the rear of the hotel I did not get a single nights sleep that was not disturbed by noise from the street. On the plus side - do go for the breakfast buffet from the "revolving" restuarant - it doesn't seem to move, but it offers great views (on those few days when the air is clear).
