Good location. Nice large bed even if single room. Working heating/air conditioning. Towels changed daily. Old furniture and a liitle smell in the toilette, but otherwise OK.
The sstaff was helpful. The balcony was a very welcome addition. The location was perfect, with walking access to many things and also a nearby Metro station.
room was small but comfortable. Not a great choice of tv channels. All nice and clean and pleasant deco. Breakfast was nice. Staff friendly. Good location for the city. Good value for money.

Nice value for money - good location (2 metro stations nearby and walking distance to the attractions), room basic but ok, breakfast ok, good service, fairly cheap room price. One complaint is the very strong and smelly detergent they used for cleaning... But that got away with the A/C and by opening the balcony door. Otherwise, if you want a basic hotel without paying too much, we recommend choosing Jorge!
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Why you may ask, well they have patience with tourists and weren´t afraid to tell you what a good tours to go on. They were never to busy to have a talk with you especially the barman.
Excellent value/money/location, also for personal use. Very polite, helpfull staff. The typical Portuguese pastries in the breakfast were very welcome! Much better than 3 starts hotels in France, and some 4 stars hotels in Greece or Spain!!!
Good hotel for its location and pricing...Easy access to any sites...Rooms are correct and clean but in a great need of renovation...Breakfast is very basic and I don't know why but eggs and sausages always came out cold...They have the right equipment but only need to switch it on!!!...Also Staff would definitely need a basic training in customer service...Smiling would be a plus and would not cost any money...To sum up if you want a cheap week end away and are not to fussy about where you stay the Jorge V is the ideal solution
A very good and quiet hotel in the city centre; the staff were extremely helpful; rooms are very clean and well-furnished. Only the air-conditioning is a bit too noisy.
My father and I stayed here for 3 nights paying only 180 Euros in total (including the booking fee), so it was excellent value for money. However, on most websites the prices were much higher and if I had had to pay those prices I'm not sure the facilities are quite upto 3 stars. Also they did not have our booking on their system, but as I had the voucher from the website there was no problem. However, if it had been busy there would have been a problem. I'm not sure what the problem was but there was definitely a failure inb communication between Hotel Club and the hotel
Friendly and helpful and quiet
A comfortable hotel near Lisbon centre, easy walking distance to some of the major sites. The personnel was very helpful and accomodating. Price/value ratio just about right. I would use this hotel again.

The staff at Jorge V Hotel Lisbon were very friendly and helpful, especially those at reception. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great: lots of choice and lots of food. A good hotel, good price, great service and location.

The furniture is quite old, from the early seventies, but considering that is quite clean it is acceptable.
The hotel is located in a very good location, close to the center of the city. A metro station is nearby. Very quiet, very clean, the staff is very polite. Great value for money!
Good location.Clean rooms. Breakfast could be richer. If you compare to the money you pay,I may say that you will get more than you pay.
Central but quiet location. No frills, solid 3-star hotel. Friendly and efficient staff. Front rooms have a balcony and are better value.
Enjoyed our stay at the room was a good size, reasonably close to town and a pleasant walk down the tree lined street. Breakfast good (by European standard).
