Everything is quite new and the stuff is very friendly. A very good choice, even though it is not in the centre.
This is a fantastic 3 star hotel in the wrong location. If you have a car, its fine. If you need to take the circumvesuviana (train), its a bit of a walk through a really dodgy area. This is the only hotel in the area amongst residencial run down buildings. The hotel itself is excellent. Rooms are new and the service is excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Just a shame about the location.
Room with any comfort as air conditioned, direct dial phone, connection ADSL, minibar, safe-box and private bathroom with shower or tub.

The location of the Joyfull Hotel is the problem. We were warned by railway staff and the police about the advisablity of staying in that area when seeking directions to the hotel. The area is remote from Naples and incredibly dirty...litter and debris everywhere. The hotel itself is new and very comfortable, but the location was off putting.
A very nice hotel located in a run down part of the city.
Difficult to find. We were at first disappointed with area (to say the least) but, once we saw what else was on offer, we thought this may be the best! Area looks very seedy and littered with rubbish, but we had no problems and once you get used to the walk to the station, this is a good hotel. The staff were excellent and nothing seemed a problem. Taxi driver had to ring hotel to get directions. Easy to get to if you take metro to Poggioreale Station. Turn left when you leave the station and go to the bottom of the hill. Then turn left, under railway and then turn lrft again. The total walk is at least half a mile. Pizza and chicken seem to be only available take-aways with no restaurant - everything closed Sunday except railway, which seems to close quite early - check times locally. We tended to buy a ticket for the day and go back in to Naples for meal - quite cheap aroung square at the front of the Station Garibaldi. For site seeing, great connections to Pompeii, etc.
Recently - built hotel. Extremely clean. Not very polite staff. Dangerous and not centric.
It was a nice hotel. The problem with the hotel is its location. far off from everything. If you reach there late hours, there is nothing around to eat.The surroundings will be rated as scary for a woman traveling alone. It seems to be a remodeled house rather than a professionbally done hotel. The hotel staff was difficult to understand uless you know Italian, however they were very helpful .
