I really enjoyed my stay in Julia hotel which is a wonderful hotel, especially receptionist, she is very helpful, and nice. I would say thank you to her for what she did for us during my stay. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone
The Hotel location is the best you can get for that price, it's just 2 minutes from the metro station and 3 minutes to Trevi fountain... wherever you go, you're close to pass by "home", change your cloths or leave packages after shopping.... and I felt pretty safe in the district.... I had the Economy Single room, which is the smallest room you can imagine, but fully enough for the person that plans to spend all day long discovering sightseeings of Rome, i.e. using hotel room for overnight stays only. The room had its' own WC and a sink, and the shower was shared, but it was always kept clean and never had any problem with it.
The single economic room is a single room with the private toilette with sink/WC, but without shower inside and without air conditioning. The shower, free of charge and at your exclusive use, is at the same floor. Some of the rooms don’t have the toilet, but you can use the service outside the room.
Single standard is a room with a double single bed. These types of rooms are equipped with bathroom (with hair dryer), telephone, TV, air conditioning, internet connection in standard ISDN and ADSL Wi-Fi (wireless) at the landing.
The Double Queen Room is a double room with double French bed (140cm * 190cm). These types of rooms are equipped with bathroom (with hair dryer), telephone, TV, air conditioning, internet connection in standard ISDN and ADSL Wi-Fi (wireless) at the landing.
The Double Standard Room is a double room with one double king size bed (160cm * 190cm) or with two singles beds. These types of rooms are equipped with bathroom (with hair dryer), telephone, TV, air conditioning, internet connection in standard ISDN and ADSL Wi-Fi (wireless) at the landing.
The Triple Room is a room with one double king size bed (160cm * 190cm) and one single bed or with three singles beds. These types of rooms are equipped with bathroom (with hair dryer), telephone, TV, air conditioning, internet connection in standard ISDN and ADSL Wi-Fi (wireless) at the landing.
The Quad Room is a room with one double king size bed (160cm * 190cm) and two singles beds or with four singles beds. These types of rooms are equipped with bathroom (with hair dryer), telephone, TV, air conditioning, internet connection in standard ISDN and ADSL Wi-Fi (wireless) at the landing.
Tiny 10sqm room without ensuite bathroom but clean. Service was great but most of all, its the location that makes it a great choice in Rome.
Great location walking distance from Termini and most major attractions. Plentiful breakfast though would have liked more fruit and better quality orange juice and coffee- it is Italy! Ask waitress for one from the bar. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly ask them to recommend local restaurants. A very enjoyable visit.
great staff excellent for location and price. attached domus julia is quieter.
Can you get a room any smaller? Location brilliant but so short on space!! breakfast ok and staff helpful.
This hotel is very well situated near the Fontana di Trevi and Barberini Square. Hotel was clean and staff friendly. The rooms were adequate but the bathroom was quite small, expecially the shower alcove. This aspect may present a problem for older or larger body types - don't drop the soap!
The Julia Hotel is very good value for money with respect to location. However, the downside to this is noise. The airconditioning is turned off on 1 October until May. In their minds, these are the cooler months of the year so nobody needs airconditioning even if the temperature in your room is 35 degrees Celsius or more. This requires you to open the window which leads onto a narrow but busy street with traffic and people shouting throughout the night. Not a restful place.
We had a room in the Domus. It was clean and spacious but did not have wireless internet as indicated which was disappointing. We were able to use the internet at th hotel in the bar but it was not the same.
Easy to find, very centrally located. Pricing was very good. Single economy room doesn't have ensuite but does have bidat (dunno spelling) and sink, mirror, cupboard, tv etc. Bathroom was also right next door so was really quite OK in terms of convenience. It was very clean also. My only problem witht the hotel is that I had paid for breakfast but had an early check out (to join a tour). They did not even try to arrange for me to have a take-away breakfast. It would have been a nice personal touch.
very cute hotel...the rooms and beds are a little smaller then expected but were very clean and tidy. The service was great the staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was great with the Trevi fountain and the spanish walk only being 5-10minute walk away and the metro is only 2 minutes away.
Nice little hotel. Great location. Very nice staff. The double room was rather small and bed not great but the bathroom spacious and new. Good value for central location near Trevi.
Very good value for money small friendly hotel.Excellent location for all the sites.Amazingly quiet and very comfortable.Nice continental breakfast served until 10am. Would recommend.
good priced hotel in a great location-5 mins trevi fountain, 10 mins spanish steps, pantheon, 15 mins termini station. go for it!
Hotels in Rome are expensive and considering this the Julia was great value. The location is fantastic, near Trevi and the metro but still quiet. The staff were very helpfull the facilities just what you would expect for a 3* hotel.
Good location. It was my first time to stay in a room with shared bathroom. It was more comfortable than I had expected. I am sure I will come back.
3.4.08 - friendly nice small good hotel, also staff - very good location, termini, trevi fountain, spanish steps etc. - very nice decoration of the breakfast room - good variable breakfast in a good atmosphere - good service for re-confirming my flight, free of charge - speak good english - elevator if necessary - room(single)203 small, but favourable price - visit the hotel and you will feel it.
Overall very pleased with hotel, only not so great point is that the shower is not ensuite for the single room (which I was in), only the toilet is ensuite.
Don't expect very friendly staff. The wireless access system is not very good, unless you have the room next to the wireless router on each floor. On a positive side the location is great and the rooms were clean.
clean, friendly, great location. would recommend to others staying in rome. Small but clean room and nice new bathromm.
