A tired hotel located too far from the centre of the city but it is located in a quiet side street. Around the corner there is a depot for Paramount coaches to Sihanoukville (where I was headed) and other places including Saigon.
beautiful swimming pool surrounded by nice tropical garden. good service around the swimming pool regarding food and drinks. cheap rooms are a bit small and do not offer an exciting "garden view" i come back during november 2010 maybe choosing the expensive room type
Rooms were tired but believe that renovations are listed for the future. Pricing for drinks - too expensive. Internet was at a cost-hardly reasonable when guest houses at $10 US a night provide free wifi in the room!!!
The hotel staff are friendly and very prompt in reply.
We arrived at the Julianna Hotel in Phnom Penh after 3 weeks backpacking around Cambodia. What a pleasure. The staff were courteous and welcoming. The room was very large and wonderfully clean, complete with a bath large enough to lay down and soak in. The Hotel has a brilliant buffet meal service in one restaurant. There is a seafood buffet in the evening, with varied Western and Asian foods at breakfast and dinner. The selection is so wonderful it is difficult not to overeat. The prices for all are very reasonable aqnd exceptionaly value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sorry not to have stayed longer. We will stay again on our return to Cambodia.
price hotel is high as all services in cambodia , the hotel is good for short traveling in phnom pen other hotels are more expensive and less service
Internet is freely available, but it is extremely slow and often it does not work at all.
ecellent hotel had a great stay and would not hesitate to go back to this hotel
The location is not ideal and the internet for business travellers is very poor. Otherwise I had a pleasant stay in the hotel with no other real complaints, next door to the hotel you can get a good haircut and up the street a suki restaurant
The food quality is not good comared to the prices asked for. We had breakfast included but they but had issues with staff accpeting this managment cleared for me. Pool side was good rooms were goood but a little old but overall if you don't mind eating out it is an ok hotel
i like the hotel, its meals are good, the service friendly and a terrifioc pool, its a bit further from the main action but thats ok as its queieter
I enjoy this hotel, its got a nice pool, the staff are really nice and its quality without the radical price. If you want somewhere with good facilties and nearby most things this is OK. Its more resort like than a hotel. On the negative its location is well away from teh big social scence and downtown, but that may suit many people anyway. I reccomend this hotel and actually like it
Very good tuk-tuk service available outside the hotel. Hotel is a little out of the way for general convienience... ie, nothing much within walking distance but has a nice pool and good restaurant. Room had the basic facilities. It was large and adequate for one night stays.
We Stayed in the Juliana hotel for 3 nights. When we arrived they could not find our booking initally. We booked a double room but got two single beds pushed together which wasn't comfortable at all. The hotel is alittle far out from the main area and there are no good reastaurants around the area that I could find as result we ate in the hotel restaurant which was ok. They have a european menu. I didnt find the staff very helpful at all. They have internet access in the hotek but there always seemed to be a problem with it. The only reason I would recommend any one to stay here is for a lovely pool and Sauna
Clean & tidy. Have a nice swimming pool for relaxation. Location is not ideal (located at Battung area) as area is considered unsafe after dark. Recommend to take taxi during night time and not tuk-tuk. Taxi ride to town centre is approx US$5-7 one way.
The hot jacuzzi and swimming pool were heavenly after a long day of sight seeing in the town. The location is both a blessing and a shortcoming because it was away from the noise and buzz along more popular hotels on Sisowath Quay, yet too off from the main attractions, unless you have paid for a whole day tuk tuk, who also have a time limit. It's good for those who wants to rest and relax for the night but not for those who wants to go bar hopping and a night life. The hotel appears to be in the process of renovation for more rooms.
Comfortable, well located, with friendly staff. Great pool. Rooms on ground floor on right saide of building look onto a carpark only 2 feet away...so curtains were always drawn, making the room feel a bit dark and claustrophobic. All in all, still good value for money.
Good value and wonderful swimming pool. Fairly isolated from downtown and the riverside. Walking anywhere is not advised, but tuk tuks are always available at the gate. We found the hotel resaurants to be just average and overpriced for dinner, but the breakfasts are very good.
Lovely pool and Jacuzzi. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms spotless and planty of space. Location a little further from tourist areas, so you either need to get good at negotiating with Tuk tuk drivers or pay for a hotel car to take you around.
The hotel is to be complimented on the courtesy and standard of service of the staff. The lunch buffet is excellent value at $10 as are the drinks during happy hour!
