Jumbo Hotel Zhuhai

Nice location for crossing over from macau. very close to the borader. but fair distance from the airport. will stay there again when i cross over late at night.

GOOD : Good Location, good service. BAD : A bit expensive, toilet got problem, no breakfast.

Room is very clean and spacious. Location is a bit out of the shopping areas. However, taxi fare is only 10 RMB to there. Staff is very courteous and friendly

Nice hotel - front office staff very friendly and helpful in recommending a city tour and places to visit. Convenient that there is foot reflexology and massage centre within the hotel that charges very reasonable rates. Rooms are comfortable. Would be better if bathroom lights could be a bit brighter.

The non-smoking room smells of smoke, but the service is excellent. If it is not for the location and price, I would recommend to my friends.

The Jumbo is a beautiful hotel. Extensive marble and care with design and decoration make it a lovely place to stay. If being at seaside is what you want, the Jumbo is not it; however, most attractions are a short, cheap taxi ride away. Staff try their best with English. The food is mostly traditional Chinese, with a few western additions. The bar is good; the night club seemed popular, although we didn't go. Special attention from staff to get us a driver to see special local places made our stay very special. Overall, don't pass this up if good value knocks.

The free access to internet is a plus for this hotel. Rooms are big and clean. Service by bell boy is also very good. Convenient location, assessible to both good restaurants and simple dishes in eating houses. We will come back here again.

We were impressed with the service from Doormen, Bellboy, Front Desk and Housekeeping. Especially Anson Siew Toh (Doormen/Bellboy - not sure) who was very attentive and courteous throughout our 6 days stay. There was this incident where we have checked out and checked in with a last minute booking for extra night. We were having problem communicating with Front Desk but Anson knew his guests well (he remembers us!!) so he went the extra mile to convince Front Desk that we were previous and future guests as well and requested Front Desk to let us have our previous room which is much bigger and on non smoking floor. Our fault as well cos it is a last minute booking for 1 night on Saturday!!! Peak Period!! However, we were happy with Anson's effort in discussing our situation with his colleagues. Rest of Doormen/Bellboy is also caring as well but Anson is our favourite employee voted by all of us in the Group of 5.

I would like to strongly recommanded this hotel to others traveller. Especially the Bell Man-Xiao Yu for the excellent service provided during our stay. He even recommanded us for the Free and easy day tour which has no time limit to anywhere in Zhuhai. The tour guide and the driver will waited patiently without any complain. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and courteous. The only point that they need to brush up is the house keeping department when they clean the room. Its miss out cleanning the chinese tea sets which previous night we left it on the dressing table. Overall a very commodating hotel and we will be back again this coming Sept 07.

Although not too far from everything, you need a taxi to move around. Cheap only RM10 as flag down fare! Excellent conceige service.
