"This hotel is extremely nice, the location is great, just 2-3 mins to Stephansdom & U station, staff are extremely nice, they were always willing to anwer my questions, no matter what I asked about Vienna. It was really helpful. The room I stayed was standard room with double bed, the room is not very big, compared with other places/countries, but very clean, and with enough facilities. The feeling of this hotel is really nice. The room rate was a little expensive compared with other cities in Austria. The hotel Kaiserin Elisabeth is one of the most traditional Viennese hotels. Along aristocracy back in the Monarchy, well known artists as musicians and painters from Mozart to Kokoschka have been staying with us. Today you can expect a fully renovated, charming hotel in which you can still feel the flair of "good old time". The hotel is situated in prime location, right next to the Stephan`s Cathedral and the most beautifull shopping- and pedestrian area "Kaernter Straße" and "Graben".
For cultural highlights as a Theatre-or Opera evening our concierge will be the one, arranging tickets regarding your wishes.
The State Opera and the Ring Street are also within walking distance ( 5 minutes ). Easy access to public transportation will bring you to other major sights of Vienna.

Our renovation works have been finalized, so we are back to normal routine again.
