At the start of the Abel Tasman National Park our beach-style accommodation is 50m from the beachfront of beautiful Kaiteriteri. This fun, relaxed location has three great beaches on our doorstep. All safe for swimming, perfect for familiy holidays and international travellers. We have 21 rooms available including Super King doubles with En-suites ($160/night), Family Rooms ($280/night) and Shared rooms ($35/night). Lodge is accompanied with TV room (Sky), Laundry, Internet facilities, BBQ Area, Gardens Communal Kitchen. Off Season Rates May Apply. Getting there:Follow the Main highway from Nelson to Motueka. Pass through Motueks 4 aprox 7 km and turn right to Kaiteriteri. When hit the beach after the bridge turn left down Inlet Road. 50 meters on right opposite mini golf.

Very clean and tidy, simple rooms. Slightly misrepresented as a lodge in ad , more a 'flashpackers' with private rooms available . Busy communal areas with a young adult flavour. We could see a peek of the beach, is one row back from beachfront.
This hotel is not in Nelson! It's in a town called Kaiteriteri (about 60km NE of Nelson itself - turn off from Richmond). We had a room facing the gorgeous beach. Rooms were clean and tidy with ensuite bathrooms. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room with a bar fridge. Shared kitchen on site with crockery and cutlery. The beach is across the road, and there are some spectacular views! There's a restaurant and bar as well, but it was closed on the night we were there. Would definitely come back just for the views!
What a great location. For the type of accommodation it was fine, room a little smallish as one would expect. Close to anything you needed. Clean, tidy and adequate. I would say say seven out of ten.
Nice spot to stay. Beach is across the road and food outlets are next door. The community cooking facility is clean and has everything you need to cook a meal or have your breakfast. (except food)
