Kangaroo Island is located 18kms off the coast of mainland Australia. Access to the Island is either by the SeaLink Ferry or by Air.
The SeaLink Ferry Terminal on the mainland is located at Cape Jervis, 1 hour and 45 mins from Adelaide. The Island Terminal is located in Penneshaw 300 metres from the Kangaroo Island Seafront Hotel. The Kangaroo Island Airport is located 50 kms from the Kangaroo Island Seafront Hotel, daily flights from Adelaide are avaliable. The SeaLink Ferry Service does allow Cars to be transported to the Island, high quality tours and hire cars are available on Kangaroo Island. The Seafront Reservation Staff can advise on how to get to the Island and how to get around it. |
