Our Hotel Kappa is a three stars Hotel, it has 19 rooms all equipped with private bath, shower, TV-Lcd, TV-Sat , telephone, air conditioning, hair dryer , safe box, modem line; threre is an internet corner for our guests and free of charge Wireless Internet Connection. We serve buffet breakfast that is always includeed in the room price; there is also a closed-private parking on request.

Getting there:Our Hotel is around 5 km far from the airport as from Venice, which can easy reached by taxi in less than 10 minutes or by bus in less than 15 minutes. Bus stop for Venice is just in front of the Hotel. (The bus to Venice is number 2, wich runs every ten minutes until late). If you came by train, you will go dawn in Mestre-Venezia, going out from the station, cross the road, get bus num.2, go down in Carpenedo square, from where you can easly see the Hotel. If you come by car (we have private parking,), coming from the highways you have to go at the exit Mestre-Venezia, after Mestre-Venezia tollgate take the exit Castellana and following for the center, to go left up of the bridge and at the crosslight to turn left. Afterward reach the end of the road (V.le Garibaldi) on Carpenedo square.

Car parking:There are two possibility to park the car: 1-reserve a parking place in our closed-secure parking at 7.00 euro. 2-A free park at 20mt. from the hotel.

Staff were helpful, close to bus service for Venice and area. Breakfast was good, clean room and quiet location.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Bus stops to and from Venice just a few steps from the hotel. 12-hour bus/boat pass is the way to go if you are in Venice for one day. It allows you to get on and off all boats and buses all day. We took the boat through Venice and also to the island of Murano. Breakfast better than most places eg they had boiled eggs and fresh fruit available. Secure parking in the rear of hotel. Restaurants are close to hotel. Don't plan to sleep in as bells of local church are quite loud.
This isnt a bad hotel compared to other hotels in Venice.The price is affordable but its a bit far from Venice city (about 20/25 mins on the bus). If you like staying out late the last direct bus is before 10pm but if thats not an issue than I would recomend the hotel. The wifi wasnt free but reasonable.
This hotel was nice and cosy. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Managed to find street parking as 12 euro a night is a little pricey to park a car. It was about a 40 minute bus ride into Venice.
Small lovely hotel. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Close to the bus stop to Venice. The shower room was very tiny and they didn't have fridge in our room. But we have really nice stay.

The Kappa Hotel is a very good friendly hotel with personal supervision from the owner/manager. The space and facilities are excellent, and the breakfast choice is generous. The service we received was excellent, with the exception that on our last morning the staff turned up late for breakfast (we are early risers). The hotel is not in central Venice, but is on a good bus route. The no. 2 bus runs every 15 minutes and takes about half an hour to reach the Piazzale Roma where all road transport stops, and all boat services can be accessed. It passes Mestre train station on the way, which is convenient for other parts of the country.
Staff very helpful. Convenient location to Church and public transport into Venice.
We were disappointed that it was approx 30mins by bus to Venice, Roma terminal on the canal, was under the impression from the location given that we were much closer than proved to be but would recommend it otherwise.
Nice little hotel, slightly overpriced - no evening meal facilities, but plenty of eating places near by.
Shower was tiny, room smelled musty.

I was very pleased with the service I received. I would stop there again.
We really liked this hotel and the town, the only issue that we saw was, there are no elevator so we had have to carry our suitcases by hand to second floor where our room was. If we go back to venice we would definitly consider this hotel.
The ladies at the reception desk were very friendly and gave us useful hints and information.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Room clean and comfortable and very quiet. Bus stop 6 minutes approx. walk from hotel and 20 minutes on bus to Venice, bus travelled every 10 minutes. Cost of bus €1. Night porter made us coffee at 5 o'clock on the morning of our departure. For the budget conscious traveller, the Kappa is worth considering.
